I have been self consciously trying to find a reliable,good service, organic and non commercial club or any person for that matter before clubs were around. The Starbuds in Santa Rosa has great quality every strain great for neck and back pain, insomnia and anxiety. The thing is that there are no commercial growers that put steroid nutrients in their plants to try to make them rock hard and pretty. Well those plants taste like shit and are terrible for you. Starbuds has top quality certified organic product plus great prices. Cant beat that.

I have been all around and this is THE place to shop for the best medicinals in the area. Both budtenders are knowledgeable, courteous, and I always leave feeling like I got a top notch product at a good price. You will not be sorry for visiting this shop tucked behind a tattoo shop and some eateries in South Santa Rosa.

I spend one week a month from the city here in Rohnert Park and Starbuds is the only place I'll shop. Very knowledgeable of there product which is what I like to hear. Staff is great though they're getting some new people. If you haven't been there you need to check them out!

Great prices, great buys, cool and small. The maui wowie was right on track with the real strain and drop of dark hash wax was solid hit of pain reduction with a smooth feeling. Just the right effect. These guys have got it going. The store gets better every time I go, Must be the other MMj's that write those bad reviews.

This is the worst club in the county. They carry old medicine.They have hundreds of joints in stock because the cannabis is of such low quality that it must be hidden in joints. Between the lies from the management and the lowest quality meds in the county, dont waste your time. The only reason to get a membership here is to get 10% off at the mighty quinn.

Wow, I tried the 60 Stain hash and it was great. It changes every 15 minutes like a great roller coaster ride. It was so smooth I thought I was just breathing air. They give you a free bud with every 1/8th you buy and I like all the buds I've gotten.

I tried their Purple Haze and it wasn’t very good. It was a long drive from Sebastopol so this place is not worth going to. The weed cost a lot of but the money staff is cool, however there were moldy plants with moldy buds.

Bud was dry and weak and thus way overpriced. Atmosphere was prison like and I recommend going elsewhere. Staff was friendly but not very helpful.

Had a sample of their mendo purps and all I gotta say is "wow". Smoked the same amount I normally do but with the mendo purps instead, and definitely could tell the difference in the quality it didnt get me high what so ever

My first time going to starbuds was interesting. I realize the owner is definitely not there, he is always nice to me but I notice he is a little weird. The store is crappy compared to others, the staff is nothing great, and the weed is way overpriced and tastes like grass. All the weed looks like it's grown outdoor with no nutes.

Patients beware, if the mold and bud rot doesn't get your lungs, the crooked business practices will. This place was robbed at gun point for anyone concerned with real safety and quality of life. Meaning the owner will not invest in his own business? The product being sold is not medicine and the people selling it are not telling the truth about chemical and mold free weed.

Botrytis Mold on Bud, Powder Mildew on Clones, and Fusarium on Clones. And to top it off, the eye in the sky is watching the place!

I am completely put off by the reviews that are posted by the club itself. Each time a negative review has been posted, they follow it with what amounts to an advertisement for themselves, sometimes being so overt that it's the same "name" or easily traceable same poster using a different "name".

Any reputable business that is looking to improve it's business and reputation in the long run, will take note of what customers say and make improvements instead of covering up by placing their own reviews.

Yes, there may be competitors or ex-customers with a grudge making false allegations, but that is no excuse to sink to their level. I encourage Starbuds to clean up their act. Quality product, service and real knowledge will generate their own rewards in the form of positive word of mouth, recommendations and honest reviews.

Until Starbuds does so, they will not merit the business of our clients and patients. I hope that the owner and staff will see this as constructive criticism and not continue the charade of bogus reviews. It may be tempting to strike back when you feel that you are being unfairly reviewed, but in doing so, you'll only shoot yourselves in the foot.

Hands down the worst club in Sonoma county! You would have to be a rich idiot to come here. Their private reserve is alright, but too much for an eighth. Horrible serviceand they're extremely weird since they have been robbed. Not my type of place. Crappy meds for crappy prices and crappy service. If you want good meds for a good price with good service, I would look at some of the other clubs in the vicinity. I definitely will not return.

I am a patient and I have the same right to my opinion, as do you. It seems to me that the same hater keeps making up new names but the same bs. You are probably a thug drug dealer from another dispensary. That is my guess and you are just hatin because Starbuds has some great products and great upbeat staff. At least when I go in there the owner isn't hovered over the budtender trying to make sure they aren't giving out a smidgen of a gram away for free, God forbid. As a matter of fact, they let me try samples of new strains all the time.

I think their prices are a little high just like every other place that I go. All of you charge too much if you ask me. I realize you need to cover your costs and generate income but you all charge too much. You could give patients a lot better deals than you do, but that is the nature of business. It is still safer and cheaper than buying it on the street like we used to have to, so quit crying about the price.

As for the mold, that is a total fabrication. It seems as though you are obsessed with trying to hurt Starbuds, but the fact is anyone that goes there is going to be happy and return. Your lies are just trying to dissuade new customers; if they are smart enough they will see for themselves. Just because you keep writing review after review doesn't make you more convincing. Get a life loser!!!

Worst place in town. All the good reviews are written by employees, not patients. My personal experience was very lacking. I would rather check out the other two on the ave. Stop writing your own reviews. It gives patients the idea that you're actually worth it.

This place is horrible. One or two good strains then the rest tasted horrible. Not good flushing or too much fertilizer. Who knows? It seems like chem herb to me, even though they call it chemical free. It seems they are just saying that for the propaganda that goes along. How does a patient with no experience know what organic herb tastes and doesn't taste? Just a tool to sell more. Greedy prices, too. No place around sells that expensive. This is not L.A., and if it were the herb would be twice as good as this.

Go to San Fran or farther north. This place's medicine is bogus. Hopefully they can change what's wrong with them, but as most clubs do, they get worse the longer they are open, except the few and proud. Step up your game, grow something with passion. A passion for growing and helping, not a passion for money. Please change. If this club took the outlook of really understanding that they know very little, they could grow. When you think you know a lot and you really don't, it's probably the last characteristic I would want in my business. I'd rather have a business low in customer service but very knowledgable in product and quality. You can do much better!

I think it is hilarious that people would go to such measures to try to ruin a good thing. Starbuds is hands down the best club and medicine that I have come across. I just moved up here from Los Angeles and have been to more clubs than I wish I ever had to. I have never seen a trace of any mold, in fact this is the best medicine I have come across. I can tell the total difference after being exposed to a bunch of weed with chemicals in it. The medicine from Starbuds tastes, smells and looks great. They always have new fresh product in. The staff is super friendly. They always give me new samples to try and the Lambs Breath is the best weed I have ever smoked!!!

It makes me sick that other people out there from other establishments will do anything to keep something great down. I am so tired of you nasty gangster drug dealers. Starbuds environment is nothing of the sort. If patients really care about their medicine they will stop even going to these gangster establishments that could care less about your health and well being. There is a huge difference in Starbuds and I am glad I found them when I moved up here. Now I don't have to waste my time and money going anywhere else. Gangster thug establishments are ruining it for all of us that need our medicine. We are tired of smoking chemicals that are causing us more harm than good. The whole mold bs is just a lie by some haters, go see for yourselves!!

These people know what they are talking about and are always willing to find a solution to your problems. Now, I'm not saying that your pot will have seeds. I have been there at least five times and only once have I found seeds, but if you do encounter some in your product, then they'll either buy them from you or reimburse you with money or product. The pot is a little expensive but it is top quality, along with their encouragment to pick out your own nuggets.

If you want full knowledge of the medicine you might buy and some of the best organic medicine to buy, then I suggest you visit Starbuds.

What's not to love about this club? The budtenders really make you feel at home, and are very knowledgeable with the products they represent. Not only do they hook you up with the fattest deals (the scale always tips your way) but they give the best customer service, bar none. And on top of all that, their top shelf is fire! Blue dragon, G.D.P, Chem Dawg, the list goes on and on. Do yourself a favor and check out this spot, you'll never want to buy from anyone else again.

I love this place! They are so genuine and generous here. I always like to get a variety; they do half eigths. They have a bargain basket, edibles, concentrates, tinctures...I didn't even know what a tincture was before I came here. I am extremely happy with the level of customer service and compassion! On top of all that, the medicine is chemical-free; no funky aftertaste or burning lungs. I'm from SoCal originally and had their club weed...no comparison in the mellow, delicious high. How it's grown has a lot to do with how it affects your health and the type of high you get. The employees are so knowledgable and actually want their patients to be educated. Who knew a place like this existed?

Let me be the one to say that the bashing going on is uncalled for. I personally buy cannabis from clubs all over California. I hate getting emails and text and my face book blowing up behind some lying person saying there is an outbreak in the cannabis market or mold or harmful substances in pot. So I go to Starbuds and look at every thing they have and buy 7 random samples and go look at them all. I found nothing at all in any of their samples, and the purple chronic is the sweetest strain I have tasted in a long time.

So in closing, Starbuds is a safe place to get some good, 100% chemical free bud at a major great price.

I was very dissappointed with this dispensary and feel I wasted my time coming, signing up, and buying a strain that was coated in brown mold. 99% of all their strains are outdoor and have some sort of disease. It is unhealthy to sell mold and mildew infested product for consumption.

I can't see why people lie, but I just purchased some Blue Dragon and Headband today. It is 5-6-10 and there is no mold or any other issues. That Headband was very stony and I liked it 100%. Most of all the people in the club were so kind, I asked a question and they took time out to look it up for me. So I'm sorry if you had a bad experience, but maybe you did something to deserve the treatment you got. You're probably a vendor with chemicals in your weed and they called you out on it.

Saying they have mold is just a flat out lie. I have been shopping there for the last month strong and never saw anything with mold. You get to look in every jar they have and you get to pick out the pot you want, so you see first hand what you're getting. I'm sure if you saw mold you would have called them out. People are not being honest about everything.

I went in to compare this club to the two in the area and I've got to say the staff was ok. The owner was horrible and the medicine was even worse. 60 plus for an 1/8? This is not L.A. I have never been talked down to, in a club, but this guy treated me very disrespectfully and made me feel not welcome. Their clone selection was very poor compared to the boutique down the street. Starbuds is run by amatuers and is a small hole in the wall. They have also been robbed at gunpoint, it makes me wonder who is keeping me safe while I'm there?

Well, I made my second trip to Starbuds today. I like it, the atmosphere is friendly and relaxed. They have a wide variety of some good buds along with a few suprises from their private reserves. The people that help you are nice and very knowledgable, I learned something new each time I was there. Overall I liked dealing with them, I liked their product and I will be a returning customer.

Worst experience ever. Way over priced herb, the owner was extremely overbearing and recited lines from the cervantes grow book rather than giving info from experience. The herb was horrible and way over priced as well. Step it up Starbuds, the other two stores down the street have it going on. I would check out other spots before giving your money to this guy.

I really hate it when people lie about a club. I just bought some Purple Diesel, Hindu Kush, and some Pink Star and it was all fresh, and the Lambs Breath there is beyond words. I just left the place and the bud I got there was very good and I love it. Please don't let that mold thing scare you. I'm a pot snob and a ganster and I love great 100% chemical free weed and mold aint never been at Star buds. If it was some mold what was it and when did you get it? Either way, we the people need to know the truth. 5 stars is what the place gets from me.

Holy Crap! This place is awesome in all ways. I have never seen so many good strain in one location. I like the fact that the place is low key and if you don't know about the place, you drive right on by. I have been to many clubs in the Bay, but this guy Mark is amazing; he knows more than I can explain. He likes to talk I can say that and everything he spoke on was so informative. I like the fact that it is a hands on place where your not rushed to buy. I bought a few clones and let me tell you I received A class on each strain. I like this place Starbuds not just because of the different stains to choose from, but because when I told them I was in pain due to back issues I was guided to the Hindu Kush and when I went home and lit my bowl, 5 mins went by and it was everything Mark Gustley told me about Hindu Kush. When I walked away from the cannabis club feeling like I won. Their Lambs Breath was off the hook and their Headband was cultivated in a Vegan process. Last but not least was that 3 dollar cookie, Sleepy Time Cookie. I love the place and I will be going back and telling all my friends.

I visited this morning and found mostly outdoor meds. Only a few indoor, but still not so pretty looking, but decent meds. The prices were kind of high. I paid just over 60 for the 8th and found light mildew on the small leaves and some browning spots on the buds.

I went one day right as they were opening up. I went in and was not impressed with the location. The shop was very small and at the time was not entirely set up. Thinking I was only going to browse for five minutes, I chatted up with the owner. He told me of his entire process of growing, drying, and curing. I was very impressed. The quality of all the cannabis there is grade A. Ironically, he grades his types with A+, A, B, C. Prices vary from $60 1/8ths A+ down to $25 C. He also has a chromatagraph which can test the content of T.H.C. His moonstone is fabulous, with a T.H.C content of 66.31%. He brings the finest quality product to the table and allows you to even smell, look at (with chopsticks), and scope with a magnifier. When I give 5 stars, I'm not talking about the aesthetics of a club. It is all about what goes into a product and the care of the patient. Cheers to you! Starbuds shall flourish and may all behold your masterpiece work of art.

I went here not really knowing what to expect. I was surprised by their huge variety of medicine indoor out door and all doors in between. I was also impressed with the knowledgeable staff and how in depth the owner is with all the different kinds of medicine. Owner obviously knows what's going on. This is a better spot then any so far I have seen in Santa Rosa, because it is a mom and pop shop that actually out does the rest of clubs in this areas. Usually I am all about finding the cheapest, best medicine but I came upon a private reserve 1/8th of Dragon's Breath and can honestly say it did things to me I didn't think weed could do. Over all great club, a bit small but for sure check it out if you like being taken care of by people who know what they are doing.

No retail space yet,(although they claim to be working on it) only a delivery service. Mark gave me a quick call back and set up a convenient delivery time, which wasn't easy because I have kids and they don't know about my use of Med. MJ. I tried three of his strains, Blue Velvet, Sour Deisel and Blue deisel @ $5o an eighth delivered. Great looking and smelling buds. $150 minimum order delivered. I am about to call back and get some more and inquire about clones. Did I mention the ease of paperwork and friendliness of staff. Good job

My (2) encounters with Starbuds were more than pleasant. By that I mean the personnel were friendly, informative on any questions I may have had, and interested and helpful in fulfulling my individual needs. They offer "Organic", they offer a wide variety of strains. I had no problem finding what I wanted. And, their "Clones" are the "Real Deal Gene". Starbuds is a fairly new dispensary, but already they have a wonderful selection. I would not hesitate to recommend them. Give them a call!!!
