So my husband and I had an interest in growing our own medicine. After hearing different things about how to accomplish this, we decided I would go to one collective and see the genetics available, and he would go to another. I chose Alternatives as mine, which I now regret. He chose a much larger and more established facility. All the clones were doing fine, so we thought, then about a week in we had noticed spider mite damage. We read up on how to treat the problem. We tried and tried to get rid of these creatures but had such a bad infestation that we had to throw them away. All of my husbands clones are very healthy and, best of all, bug free. My review is this: I felt like this place was very nice looking on the inside, but on the inside they were unknowledgeable about the genetics and their answers sounded scripted from a High Times Mag. Their security was extremely poor and the meds looked like last year's outdoor harvest. Not to mention the used car salesman behind the counter. I'm not recommending this place for anyone, unless you're desperate.

I was reluctant to write a bad review because in a pinch for time, this is the closest dispensary to me. I am tired however of paying alot + tax for an eight of "top grade" and find that it has MOLD. I brought it back the first time bacause I had the reciept and I was still in their parking lot, but the other two times I did not open the eight until I got home and they would not take it back once I had left their facility parking lot. So aside from the clones I bought that had mildew and mites I also have paid a high price for moldy medicine. What is up with that?

This place is just weird and they run it like a jail house. In/out buzzers, way overkill on security, and an attitude that is scary. In all fairness, there are some good people working there but their way of selling by hovering over people, and the rudeness they portray is not what I need. I went in and left and headed over to a much friendlier and comfortable dispensary. Also, their products for such a large place are poor. They sell dry buds in plastic bags you can't see and their edible selection is poor and overpriced.

Why go here when there are much better places? Who needs it?

You get what you get. I mean we're not babies still and don't need to be taken care of. If rules or other people's way of business ruined my day, I'd be miserable. Yeah, they aren't the nicest people on the block but I kind of like a place that doesn't hold your hand. Pick something out if you're so mad about prepack, I went there last and as I got rung up I asked them to let me just see to make sure I'm getting the gettin. She then said she cant let me touch it but she leaned it towards me for a look. I only buy the best strain in the house, so it seems like 50 percent of clubs don't let me down. If you can't find some stony weed, go back to your really mean drug dealer. I don't remember them being so nice and, "Here look at it, finger it, smoke it, then tell me what you think". Some but not all do. This place rocks, only thing is it's too expensive.

Warning!!! Don't buy clones here!! You get burned 90% of the time, hermaphrodites, spider mites, powder mildew, it's a nightmare!! I started having problems there about 3 yrs. back. Not having other sources for clones, I found myself going back like a glutton for punishment, trying different vendors, and sometimes some would finish nice and others wouldn't finish? Other times spider mites, stunted growth, mildew, wtf!!!

Recently I had some extra room so my dumb @$$ thought, Let me try them one more time (hoping they fixed their problems). I went there and talked with a very nice lady for more than an hour and told her all my problems I had their in the past, and she said they had new vendors and fixed their problems. Finally I asked her who is your best, most reliable, certified!, vendor. She recommended some maui waui from a vendor with the initials sm on his tag. The lady said he was so good they were going to hire him! They looked great at first but 3 wks into flowering, bammm!! There it is, powder mildew again!!! Never Again!! I would kill myself before buying from that club again! Other plants in the same room I got from a friend are looking perfect. 45%humidity 78 deg, I have a great environment. Clones get traits from their mothers. If the mothers have problems, their clones will, also! Now I only have one friend I'll get clones from and I'm growing from seed (the only way to go)!

Unbelievably bad experience.

First, they don't answer the phone and they don't have all of their "rules" posted on their web site. So if you drove three hours to get there, and they turn you away at the front door, you didn't know that:

1. They close at 5:00 PM, but they don't take new patients after 4:00 PM. ( I got there at 3:40PM and the two employees at the door whined about it for ten minutes.)
2. My father, who actually needed the medicine was not allowed in with his card. He had to have the paperwork with him too. Luckily ( or not ) I had mine so at least one of us could go in.
3. They have crap for bud. Almost literally. It was bad.

They did have a nice selection of clones, although not all of them had good root structure. Make sure you check before you buy. Healthy roots are important.

I hated my experience, both the people and the store.

This was my first club and I went at the end of February. I was very happy to see $25 eighths. They have a lot of strains of clones. They have edibles for $5 each. They have 10% off sundays with a receipt. and 10% off on your first purchase.

I went back again and got different kinds. I bought a 7 inch dome and some hydroton, and the guy carried the hydroton out to my truck.

The first time they made my card and they messed up, so on my second trip they had to print a new one. Also, I had to wait a while on my first trip, like 20 minutes on the couch.

Overall, I would go again.

To all who write such bull about this club, you should take another look at what is here!! They have great clones, meds that are in all price ranges, great medicated munchies, a staff that is caring, the girls behind the counter are hot, but to call them "Prostitutes" is going to far, they are far from that!!! They are nice, caring, and know their stuff, and if they don't flirt back at you, then tough. The security is great, and yes they have rules to follow, just let them do their job!!! Remember that this is a priviledge not a right!!!!! If you think that you are being treated unfairly, or don't like your meds then ask for a mananger and see what they will do about it, don't just blast them on the web like a little cry baby, talk to them face to face like a man.

Ok, I've gone to this place when needed for years. The reviews here are mostly right, so here is my take on the place. The bud is mediocre, out of all their strains I usually see 1 or 2 things that I would purchase, but I can usually get a better price/quality elsewhere or from a friend. Nothing is verified organic and most looks like hydro. You can't smell or see fresh samples, the samples are old and dry and the bud is usually dry or even damp at times. They usually have 1 or 2 things that are really killer if you know you're stuff and a bunch of crap that people who don't know any better buy. I recommend the Lambs bread highly. Prices for bud are about 40-50 1/8th + tax.

The hash selection is not great and the little they have is average quality/expensive at $20-30 a gram. That's like east coast street prices and this is supposed to be compassionate medicine.

The edible selection is decent. They have a bunch of stuff. I'm not big into edibles but they have a bunch of them and they are decent quality.

The clones and seeds are the only reason I go there. They have A aolt of clones and a decent selection of seeds, all for reasonable prices. The clones are a little pricy, but if you are knowledgeable you can buy 1 and take 100 more for free. They are usually healthy and real deal genetics but keep an eye out for bugs or problems. I have spotted a few and one cutting came with free root aphids, but they are usually quite good for the most part.

The parking lot is very small for the size of the operation. It's this huge warehouse with like 15 parking spots. The place is big and empty feeling inside, but they do have a few cool grow displays and things and offer a lot of gardening supplies.

The staff, well besides the mediocre non organic buds they sell, is where they get the low marks from me. Every employee doesn't know anything or is a know it all. I ask a question and they either don't have a clue, they give a half baked/fake answer like I'm stupid, or I get into a conversation about strains/gentics/growth habits, etc. and this and that and someone else acts like they know everything but like they are too busy to talk to you and treat you like crap and walk away like whatever. Not very friendly. The lady who does the cuttings sometimes is very nice, but doesn't know much about the strains. The front desk chicks where you check in are definitely not friendly at all and treat you like the invisible man.

The people who sell the medicine are definitely rushy and unknowledgeable or careless about your needs or questions. They have a buy something or get out attitude. The security dudes, I actually like these guys, are always nice to me but they do have a set of rules and you will be harrased if you do anything they don't like.

Overall, this place is ok for what it is. It seems more like a warehouse o' weed than a medicinal pharmacy. We will call it the Home Depot of weed as far as quality of products and service, haha. If you want a personable, friendly experience and dank buds go elsewhere. If you just need clones or seeds or a desperate 1/4 of Diesel or Purps, go to these guys.

I give OrganiCann 3 stars because I see it as average, like Home Depot, not great or excellent but not horrible either. It is what it is. I think they could greatly improve with a better staff and product but money talks. Grow you're own medicine and you will be much better off.

Meds I bought were horrible! Clones were ok, we will see. The staff were so rude and unknowledgeable. This isn't exciting social change anymore. Medical Marijuana has been around since 1996. This has been the only club I have ever been to that has treated me so poorly. You sound like the cops! Because someone is uncomfortable doesn't mean they have something to hide, it means you guys are treating them like they are buying an illegal substance. Medical marijuana is legal! Don't be jerks! You guys are stuck in 2002 when this stuff was exciting and risky. It's not anymore. People might rob you, and that's about it. You should shut down your operation for a couple weeks and reevaluate your business strategy. All these negative reviews are going to bite you in the ass. You can change your name as much as you want, but people will be on to you.

I also want my money back for the weed I bought. It was nothing like the sample and worse than what I make my hash with. Oh, and I will show you what real hash looks like. You can smoke some to if you want. rappin4jays@yahoo.com That's my email. Let me know when I can come back and get my money. "Stick your neck out and open one yourself" Hahahahaha. What do you think everyone is doing? 2 years ago there were about 8-10 in sacramento, now there are dozens of them! Why? No risk, high reward! I might open one up since everyone is doing it these days. I loved how I noticed the old man treat the women with tons of respect and all the men got treated like convicts. I noticed this because I was in the lobby for about 10 minutes. I will never go back. I will head straight to Lake County or San Fran next time.

I am giving this club 1 star because the girl behind the desk tried very hard to get a hold of my doctor. Other than that this place is horrible. The security guards made me feel like a criminal. Granted, they don't look tough at all, just very jumpy. Like a 2nd grade hall monitor.

Now let's get to the meds. I looked over all their samples and they looked mediocre at best, with a few that stood out over the rest. They seemed to have a lot of differently named strains that all smelled like Granddaddy. 2 strains looked to be very good though, through the sample cube(WTF?). Very Berry and Cheese Balls. When I left and got to a safe spot to look at my medicine, I felt very ripped off! Most clubs let you see what they weight out for you. Not them, they dont want you calling them out for giving you highly priced "larf" bud and leafy wifters. I was so pissed. I made hash with the buds they gave me! The Very Berry was so leafy and puny. Out of a gram I got 2 smokable bowls of garbage. It was supposed to be "very tasty", it tasted like a cash rip the whole time! My worst outdoor still left over from the season is better than the best bud they offer. I just wanted something different other than what I already had, and I paid for wanting such. I give the very berry I got 0.5 out of 5 stars. The Cheese Balls were okay, but burned to a nasty black lump and lost its flavor very fast.

The clones were the high point of the trip, and that isn't saying much. I purchased a Rock Lock and Black Domina. Healthy enough, but for the prices they charge I would never go there for clones again. 15+!?!?! Who do they think they are? Everyone has their strains anyways! Despite that, they didnt have any information regarding their strains. Nobody knew anything about the plants or what the finished product was like!!! I don't think people there even smoke. It looks like they just drive around in Lexus' and take money from unknowing sick people. They should be ashamed of themselves. Hey organicann, I got a slogan for you. "Organicann - The Walmart of Weed!"

I am not exaggerating on any of this. This was seriously the worst club experience I have ever had. Only go there if you have plenty of money and want common genetics with condescending a-holes around every corner. Not a place for the seasoned smoker! Oh, and if you guys over there want to be successful in the future(not now), you have to change with the environment. Nobody likes being treated like cattle when purchasing meds, and this isnt 1999, the price of weed is very cheap now, at least in Sac it is. There is no need to be charging the prices you do unless you are trying to offset the cost of your nifty purple and green paint job. That I guess I can understand. This place and the weed left a very bad taste in my mouth.

I have to disagree with the majority of reviews about this club. I visited yesterday for the first time, arriving at 5:30 p.m. The bouncer-like security guard could not have been nicer. After telling me they usually don't verify past 5:00 p.m., he then said, "But it's just a little after five, let me see what I can do." I waited less than 3 minutes until he was back with the news that I could enter. So far, so good.

The man described by another reviewer as looking like "Santa Claus" was also extremely welcoming and helpful. After waiting for a couple of minutes, he showed me to the reception desk, where I was given a club card and a brief overview of the rules they'd given me a written copy of. The receptionist wasn't particularly warm and fuzzy, but did make eye contact with me. Unlike some of the other reviewers, I'm not there for eye contact. Sure, it's nice, it's polite...but I'm more interested in efficiency...and this receptionist was.

Another moment passed while an employee was called to tour the facilities with me. She was outstanding: helpful, knowledgeable, polite, enthusiastic. She listened to what I wanted and made suggestions. Yes, the place is cavernous. Yes, it seems a bit pricey...but this kind of operation is expensive to run and why begrudge a business trying to stay in business? It's clean, it's well-staffed, and as a female, the security was reassuring rather than hassling.

I will absolutely return to this establishment.

It's a big operation (probably too big), with typical attitudes that you might expect to find in a large organization of any type -- rudeness, indifference, pushiness, bad attitudes. I felt like I was a visitor trying to get into San Quentin vs. a patient trying to buy medicine. The security is probably a bit over the top. All thats missing is razor wire and a guard tower. The young women that often work at the front counter checking you in are rude as hell. They can't even be bothered to look you in the face through the glass when you hand them your card, much less say anything welcoming. The last time I was there will be my last. Some asshole at the front barked at me to "wait until I was called", and some old man that looks like Santa Clause walks around like some "enforcer". I guess he is one of the owners, making sure to watch after his money. The prices are OK (everyone that has such an establishment has to pay the bills, but the meds are often too dry and you can't really inspect what you are getting before walking out with it.

This is the club to go to if you are in Sonoma county. They have a huge selection of consistent professional grade cannabis. Usually between 20-40 different strains along a 40ft counter. Clear magnified display containers let you look and smell. Printed index card descriptions. They also have a huge variety of edibles, from truffles to hotpockets.

Their concentrates are awesome, all kinds of hash, oil, keif, etc. They also have a separate department for clones and grow supplies. Not much hardware like lights and fans, but all the nutrients and stuff you’ll need once you have set up.

It has top of the line surveillance and several guards. Everyone is nice and knowledgeable. They usually have a large staff on hand. It is in a clean, rather large warehouse. This club is very secure. There are strict rules to please the county. No smoking on premises, 1oz a day limit, no return visits, no cell phones, no sunglasses (-Rx), no exchanging money inside, and more. Designed to be an in-and-out visit. They issue their own cards to keep their own record of your Rx and avoid scammers, so bring your original prescription the first time.

They have classes, and free literature. They are involved with the community.

I'm going to give them one star for the fact they're open, after that watch out, I had a price change on me for hash, I pointed out the price on the big white board to have the young girl walk over and erase what was the price, then only to charge me more.

I walked out, and if that wasn't bad enough you "can not pick your meds out," they pre-package it in colored bags so you can not see into the bag, and you're not allowed to open it untill you're off the premises. If you think you're going to be cheated from what you see in the sample 1 inch by 1 inch sample container you're right.

I've seen one sample of Grape Ape that didn't look like what I bought the last time I went, the girl said its been in there for over 3 months. So, what's the holes on the under side of the container for? I asked, as I shook the container hoping to smell the aroma with no luck, as I shook the container a staff member said please don't shake the containers. So I left and traveled into San Francisco, 40 miles and worth my trip I might add where I picked out my own good smelling meds. Tough luck OCF, I'm never buying meds from you again.

The first time I came here they turned me down because they don't do verification after 3:00 from what security told me; so I came back a few days later and signed up. It took only 10 minutes until I got my organicann card. The picture was pretty low quality. I went inside, and wow what a nice club. It's a big warehouse style club. It has everything from soil and nutrients to meds, clones, edibles and oils. They have everything.

However, the prices were way up there. The dry meds I got were way over priced. The clones looked pretty bad, alot were yellowing and looked sick, plus they charge too much for clones and moms and teens. So, I got an 8th and made my way out. Overall there was a good selection and supplies.

The only negative was the turn down on my 1st day, and the prices and clones, everything else is tip-top.

I went there for the first time and was immediately harrassed by the security guard as to why I was driving around the next parking lot, and basically I was just trying to find the place. That was the start to a very rude experience. I have been to many clubs all over the bay area and never experienced this kind of rudeness.

The head security guard is nice but all the rest that work there have a very bad attitude and I won't be back. Most places go out of their way to help you, but this place made me feel like I was infringing on their time, from the guy that showed me around, to the person who sold me the medicine.

And the "medicine" was not really that great, so I am going to pass this club by. It's a great setup with all supplies, but even your best clubs have a much nicer staff with much more integrity! Sorry, fire your staff and I'll return.

I have been a member of the club for over 2 years. I find the club is getting greedy. The clones are left too long on the floor and look bad. They need to have quality clones only. What kind of business are you running? Greed will get you no where.

We want quality and you want quantity. I am dissapointed. I find I am not treated like a regular purchasing customer. I understand you have to have security also, but that shouldn't effect your proffessionalism and quality of business. There are many businesses opening now. You might want to up your act. Thank you.

Probably one of the biggest dispensaries you will ever walk into. I've never really had too many problems with the staff. However, they can be real short with you which is frustrating. When you ask them questions, they have no idea what they're talking about, which can be very misleading.

For instance, questioning them about the difference in price, they will make up an answer for the price difference. I've had some people tell me different prices.

The staff needs to learn a little kindness and compassion. Here's what they do well: 1. Their clones are superior & produce more bud & less leaf. 2. Their edibles are superior - try their carmel crispy treat, it's awesome! 3. They sell some great bud: their Cheese and Urkles really get the job done. Prices vary and aren't necessarily a sign of quality.

So I visit them for their clones and edibles, and they offer some cool discounts for veterans, over 55s, and the disabled. Sundays edibles are reduced in price.

I keep hoping these people flush their staff who harass their customers, and turn it around, but it hasn't happened yet. If I received such consistent and negative criticism, I would view it as a problem, but they just don't get it, even now.

My complaint is some of the people who work their. Most of them are cool but the last two times I have been. I was treated rudely, and with a lot of impatience. I won't go into the specifics, but trust me with so many other better and friendlier clubs who needs them. Also the place is like a warehouse. And somebody is raking it in. This club puts out a 1 gram sample in a little container that has holes in it but you cant really smell it because they try to buy in bulk so they get a discount then have the same sample out for weeks. After you look at their samples you pick which kind you want then you pay for it but can't see what you get untill outside but they don't offer refunds so when you open your bag and see it's all shake and little baby buds or it's not even the same thing you looked at then you're screwed. And of course the only reason I am interested is because of the "Organic" Cannabis Foundation...thinking the meds are organic!

So the first time I go I am turned away because they will not verify patients after 5:00pm and I showed up at 5:20pm. Wow is all I gotta say at least put that info online for people!

The second time I go I make sure to go before 5. The sign-up was sketchy. the people were sketchy. I felt like I was being watched-big brother style for sure. They try to scare the poo out of you, but I'm just getting my meds so why would I be scared?

I finally get in and it's a huge warehouse and clearly a huge money maker as it is the only club north of cisco...I ask what meds are organic and he tells me, "well you can never tell if it's organic so we don't know, but we will label something when it's organic." What kind of stupid game playing answer is that?

So basically no your meds aren't organic even though you are called "organic cannabis foundation" Weird.

Each box has a magnifying side and holes for sniffing the merchandise. They also have a good selection of starter plants and offer monthly workshops for growing.

On the other hand, they run the facility like a prison and you are treated like a felon entering jail. I was even told I had to remove and keep my eyeglasses off throughout my visit. Yes, large security guys can seem intimidating but isn't that the point? Preventing people from disrupting places where order and security are important like a dance club or cannabis club keeps those venues operating. Actually I found the security courteous and professional and their requests to keep my backpack and shades in the car wasn't a big deal. Those rules seem a small price to pay to enter a cannabis club, I mean really! For those who have been buying at clubs for awhile and the experience is so routine that the rules really annoy you: try to keep in mind how amazing this opportunity really is.

I'd liked to see more selections on the sativa end but there were enough to choose from and I found the quality to be good. The most exciting aspect of this club for me is that they sell lollypots. What an amazing product! Who wouldn't enjoy a medicated lollypop? In the East Bay we have all the typical edibles but none of these.

She hires people who share her enthusiasm and is very approachable. People know me by name and always make their patients feel welcome. There is always a good selection of both strains and prices. When this medical marijuana dispensary first opened, it was decent. People were friendly, product was good and the price was reasonable. However, after about a year, things noticeably changed. The youngs girls hired were unfriendly, sometimes rude, ignoring your questions, or altogether avoid serving you to serve someone else. The prices increased considerably, and left most disabled patients on fixed incomes no other choice, but back to the black market to get their medicine.

This is a facility that is supposed to provide organic medication to patients having been perscribed by a medical doctor. In a huge parking area, there is only one disignated handicapped parking space. At times, I've had to walk from the end of the parking area, because the space was already taken, and I suffered from cancerous lesions on my feet. I could get someone to drive me, but they couldn't go in for me. You're rushed in and rushed out like cattle.

Patients don't get an opportunity to get educated on the various strains. The girls stand before you, tapping their feet, making you feel very uncomfortable. Several times, I wasn't given my VISA card back. I had to return. I was racially profiled and made to wait while suitable, younger, able-bodied, or personal friends were given preference.

All-in-all, this club has become, no different than the pharmaceutical companies that capitalize on the poor and the needy. Patient's seeking remedy under the Compassionate Use Act are being taken by this club. Where's the Compassion in what they do and what they charge for the product. This is a very cold place, and it's really sad, because where else are we to go to get our medicine, to get educated, to have a place to meet other patients and share joys of how these medicinal products extend our lives and helps us to continue being productive citizens, without the fear of persecution by the state and local law enforcement agencies? Think about it.

I feel like a prisoner instead of a patient. When I visit the Organic Cannabis Foundation, I feel like I have done something wrong. Being there actually aggravates one of the very conditions I need to be medicated for. I only go there in a dire emergency and only because it is the nearest club to my home.

And if you dont have a car you can't even get in as they allow no "walk-ons", so if you have to take the bus you're SOL.

Excellent service and selection - great variety. Nice quality though it can get expensive. I like the selection of purples. Wheres the drive thru window? Just kidding! :)

More people should grow and participate. This club has strong and potent herbs, but it will cost you.

The Northbay Wellness Group is now The Organic Cannabis Foundation.

The security staff is very friendly. They are there for the protection of patients. I feel safe when I visit the medical cannabis dispensary.

The medicine at the Organic Cannabis Foundation is of excellent quality and is priced the same as all other local dispensaries, perhaps even less than most dispensaries. The Organic Cannabis Foundation strives to provide the most organically grown medicine possible.

The Organic Cannabis Foundation encourages and teaches our patient cultivators to grow sustainably. The Organic Cannabis Foundation screens their medicine with the utmost care. They care about what patients are using as their medicine.

Overall, I would recommend The Organic Cannabis Foundation to any medical marijuana patient.

Formerly Northbay Wellness, now called Organicann on Santa Rosa Avenue. This place is very uncomfortable to go to. The security guards look like gang members, and they rush you through as fast as they can to make room for more business. The people are very unfriendly, and the medicine is overpriced. Their clones are good quality but the prices are rediculous - they start at $16 per clone and go up from there. The selection of medicine was good, but again extremely overpriced.
