Santa Rosa Medical Marijuana Patient Reviews

So my husband and I had an interest in growing our own medicine. After hearing different things about how to accomplish this, we decided I would go to one collective and see the genetics available, and he would go to another. I chose Alternatives as mine, which I now regret. He chose a much larger and more established facility. All the clones were doing fine, so we thought, then about a week in we had noticed spider mite damage. We read up on how to treat the problem. We tried and tried to get rid of these creatures but had such a bad infestation that we had to throw them away. All of my husbands clones are very healthy and, best of all, bug free. My review is this: I felt like this place was very nice looking on the inside, but on the inside they were unknowledgeable about the genetics and their answers sounded scripted from a High Times Mag. Their security was extremely poor and the meds looked like last year's outdoor harvest. Not to mention the used car salesman behind the counter. I'm not recommending this place for anyone, unless you're desperate. |

I was reluctant to write a bad review because in a pinch for time, this is the closest dispensary to me. I am tired however of paying alot + tax for an eight of "top grade" and find that it has MOLD. I brought it back the first time bacause I had the reciept and I was still in their parking lot, but the other two times I did not open the eight until I got home and they would not take it back once I had left their facility parking lot. So aside from the clones I bought that had mildew and mites I also have paid a high price for moldy medicine. What is up with that? |

Don't waste your time going to this club. The only thing your going to get from here is crap from the security guards. But if you don't listen to me and you go anyways, when you see that guy tell him to stop acting like a wannabe cop! |

After two days, I called my Doctor back. The Doctor said the only call back number they left was mine. My doctor said; Who do I call? Do all clubs do that? |

This place is just weird and they run it like a jail house. In/out buzzers, way overkill on security, and an attitude that is scary. In all fairness, there are some good people working there but their way of selling by hovering over people, and the rudeness they portray is not what I need. I went in and left and headed over to a much friendlier and comfortable dispensary. Also, their products for such a large place are poor. They sell dry buds in plastic bags you can't see and their edible selection is poor and overpriced. |

You get what you get. I mean we're not babies still and don't need to be taken care of. If rules or other people's way of business ruined my day, I'd be miserable. Yeah, they aren't the nicest people on the block but I kind of like a place that doesn't hold your hand. Pick something out if you're so mad about prepack, I went there last and as I got rung up I asked them to let me just see to make sure I'm getting the gettin. She then said she cant let me touch it but she leaned it towards me for a look. I only buy the best strain in the house, so it seems like 50 percent of clubs don't let me down. If you can't find some stony weed, go back to your really mean drug dealer. I don't remember them being so nice and, "Here look at it, finger it, smoke it, then tell me what you think". Some but not all do. This place rocks, only thing is it's too expensive. |

They didn't even let me see my 8th before I bought it and when I got outside I was going to look and there was all this mold on the inside middle of the bud. It's all brown and tastes really bad. This was supposed to be the lady's favorite strain, that's why I bought it. |

Warning!!! Don't buy clones here!! You get burned 90% of the time, hermaphrodites, spider mites, powder mildew, it's a nightmare!! I started having problems there about 3 yrs. back. Not having other sources for clones, I found myself going back like a glutton for punishment, trying different vendors, and sometimes some would finish nice and others wouldn't finish? Other times spider mites, stunted growth, mildew, wtf!!! |

Everything negative that's written in this review is very true. With that said, as an owner or co-owner you want to make your customers happy and listen to suggestions to better the place, because reviews say everything. If this place doesn't make changes, it is doomed like a bad restaurant! |

Organicann staff members are writing good comments trying to bring this horrible place some business. Sorry, but the people who have come here no longer come, your making id cards for one time guests. Nobody ever comes back here. |

Nice selection, a bit pricey for anything worth smoking. Have seen purple with mold on it from them before. Nice clones and lots of hydro/grow supplies. Good medibales. Good hash, kief, and oil. Kind of a more intense environment with 4 to 5 security guards, but they're cool. Club is alright for the most part, I only go there for purple though. |

I love this place. Everytime I go I am greeted with a smiling face and am never let down by the variety and quality of their products. The staff is very friendly and helpful. If I can't decide what to get, I tell them what I'm looking for and I've never been dissapointed by their suggestion. They have high quality bud, concentrates and the best edibles. If you haven't been, you need to check it out - you'll feel like a kid in a candy store! |

I bought an 8th of bubba kush and it had brown mold. I will never come here ever again. I wasted my hard earned money on garbage, mis-labeled product. I know it was outdoor, but they labeled it indoor and all of their meds are garbage, low quality, dry and moldy crap. |

This was my first club and I went at the end of February. I was very happy to see $25 eighths. They have a lot of strains of clones. They have edibles for $5 each. They have 10% off sundays with a receipt. and 10% off on your first purchase. I went back again and got different kinds. I bought a 7 inch dome and some hydroton, and the guy carried the hydroton out to my truck. The first time they made my card and they messed up, so on my second trip they had to print a new one. Also, I had to wait a while on my first trip, like 20 minutes on the couch. Overall, I would go again. |

To all who write such bull about this club, you should take another look at what is here!! They have great clones, meds that are in all price ranges, great medicated munchies, a staff that is caring, the girls behind the counter are hot, but to call them "Prostitutes" is going to far, they are far from that!!! They are nice, caring, and know their stuff, and if they don't flirt back at you, then tough. The security is great, and yes they have rules to follow, just let them do their job!!! Remember that this is a priviledge not a right!!!!! If you think that you are being treated unfairly, or don't like your meds then ask for a mananger and see what they will do about it, don't just blast them on the web like a little cry baby, talk to them face to face like a man. |

Ok, I've gone to this place when needed for years. The reviews here are mostly right, so here is my take on the place. The bud is mediocre, out of all their strains I usually see 1 or 2 things that I would purchase, but I can usually get a better price/quality elsewhere or from a friend. Nothing is verified organic and most looks like hydro. You can't smell or see fresh samples, the samples are old and dry and the bud is usually dry or even damp at times. They usually have 1 or 2 things that are really killer if you know you're stuff and a bunch of crap that people who don't know any better buy. I recommend the Lambs bread highly. Prices for bud are about 40-50 1/8th + tax. |

Meds I bought were horrible! Clones were ok, we will see. The staff were so rude and unknowledgeable. This isn't exciting social change anymore. Medical Marijuana has been around since 1996. This has been the only club I have ever been to that has treated me so poorly. You sound like the cops! Because someone is uncomfortable doesn't mean they have something to hide, it means you guys are treating them like they are buying an illegal substance. Medical marijuana is legal! Don't be jerks! You guys are stuck in 2002 when this stuff was exciting and risky. It's not anymore. People might rob you, and that's about it. You should shut down your operation for a couple weeks and reevaluate your business strategy. All these negative reviews are going to bite you in the ass. You can change your name as much as you want, but people will be on to you. |

I am giving this club 1 star because the girl behind the desk tried very hard to get a hold of my doctor. Other than that this place is horrible. The security guards made me feel like a criminal. Granted, they don't look tough at all, just very jumpy. Like a 2nd grade hall monitor. |

Anyone that gave this club a good review is obviously a staff member or employee at organicann because everyone here hates this place and we all go to sebastopol for our meds now. (Sorry but the girls at the counter don't make up for the low quality, rip off meds you have). The thing we all hate is that we can't see our meds untill we leave. We don't get to choose if we like the meds or not. The displays are nothing like the actual product they put in your bag!! This place gets -1 star |
|

You should listen to the people. Make changes, be friendly, and don't make excuses. Make money. If you gave me a bag of weed that I cannot see before I leave, I would never come again. |

Very happy with the clones I received. The clones were decently priced. 8 weeks into veg, each clone is at 100%, no pests, diseases or mold. I recommend the purple trainwreck for those looking to grow short plants indoors. I can't contain the sour diesel or white widows, they all smell so sweet! Go here, respect the club, get treated well, and leave happy. |

I have to disagree with the majority of reviews about this club. I visited yesterday for the first time, arriving at 5:30 p.m. The bouncer-like security guard could not have been nicer. After telling me they usually don't verify past 5:00 p.m., he then said, "But it's just a little after five, let me see what I can do." I waited less than 3 minutes until he was back with the news that I could enter. So far, so good. |
|

I am not happy at all with the price or quality of the meds here. The people made me feel pressured to buy and I could not smell anything, which made it not possible to select right. Even so, paying 65.00 an eighth, the meds were not even close to Oakland or Berkeley . Thumbs down! It's too big, move to a smaller spot and give better meds at cheaper prices! There is the idea of the day! |

Clean, well run place with about 35 different strains and tons of clones. I got the Purple Rain which is top notch! I will go back here whenever I'm in Santa Rosa area. Check them out! |

Wow, what can I say, that is "nice" about this place? Humm, not allot really. It's a big operation (probably too big), with typical attitudes that you might expect to find in a large organization of any type -- rudeness, indifference, pushiness, bad attitudes. I felt like I was a visitor trying to get into San Quentin vs. a patient trying to buy medicine. The security is probably a bit over the top. All thats missing is razor wire and a guard tower. The young women that often work at the front counter checking you in are rude as hell. They can't even be bothered to look you in the face through the glass when you hand them your card, much less say anything welcoming. The last time I was there will be my last. Some asshole at the front barked at me to "wait until I was called", and some old man that looks like Santa Clause walks around like some "enforcer". I guess he is one of the owners, making sure to watch after his money. The prices are OK (everyone that has such an establishment has to pay the bills, but the meds are often too dry and you can't really inspect what you are getting before walking out with it. |

I have a lot to say, none of it good.First off anyone giving this club more than 2 stars has clearly never been to a GOOD club. OCF buys meds with pesticides, don't have displays to match their actual product, and the only thing I can compare the staff to are the guards from Guantanamo Bay!!! If you should consider visiting I still recommend that you do , but only so that you will have first hand information on what a pathetic excuse for a club looks like! |

Well, I used to love this place, but the staff always usher you around and I hate that I can't see the buds that I "buy". And everytime I get ringed up I feel like I'm passed off to some other register who is busy when there are like 4 lanes open. This place is wack but they usually got hella chronic bud cause they got so many. Even deaf blind squirrels find thier nuts. |

Went in for my first time this weekend. I walked to the first gate, kindley welcomed by the first security guard. I gave the second security guard my paper work and was asked to wait in the waiting room and fill out their paperwork. I only waited 5 minutes until i was taken to the counter, and had my picture taken for the Organicann identification card. |

Huge Warehouse, Large selection... That's it. Dry buds always. Staff rushes you to buy and has no compassion. Security guards check cards too frequently. One day I had to show it to 5 people. Buds are very over priced and discount deals rarely happen. DO NOT Buy prerolled jays, they have been there for months. Clones are healthy but very pricey. Growing nutrients and items cost less at friedmans or anywhere else. Great butane extract honey goo and that's the last compliment I will give to that place. The Costco of weed I call it. Except for high prices, no good bulk deals, no free samples and very mean and unintelligent staff. Drive to Sebastapol only 15-20 from Rosa and the buds are magnificent. |

You can't pick your own meds. The meds they give you are nothing like the display cases. they have falsly named strains. The quality is not as good as other clubs. Only good thing they have is edibles. Which are also over priced. Sorry, I wont come here again. I'd rather drive to San Francisco and not get ripped off. |

This is the club to go to if you are in Sonoma county. They have a huge selection of consistent professional grade cannabis. Usually between 20-40 different strains along a 40ft counter. Clear magnified display containers let you look and smell. Printed index card descriptions. They also have a huge variety of edibles, from truffles to hotpockets. |
|

I'm going to give them one star for the fact they're open, after that watch out, I had a price change on me for hash, I pointed out the price on the big white board to have the young girl walk over and erase what was the price, then only to charge me more. |

The first time I came here they turned me down because they don't do verification after 3:00 from what security told me; so I came back a few days later and signed up. It took only 10 minutes until I got my organicann card. The picture was pretty low quality. I went inside, and wow what a nice club. It's a big warehouse style club. It has everything from soil and nutrients to meds, clones, edibles and oils. They have everything. |

I went there for the first time and was immediately harrassed by the security guard as to why I was driving around the next parking lot, and basically I was just trying to find the place. That was the start to a very rude experience. I have been to many clubs all over the bay area and never experienced this kind of rudeness. |
|

I have been a member of the club for over 2 years. I find the club is getting greedy. The clones are left too long on the floor and look bad. They need to have quality clones only. What kind of business are you running? Greed will get you no where. |

Probably one of the biggest dispensaries you will ever walk into. I've never really had too many problems with the staff. However, they can be real short with you which is frustrating.
When you ask them questions, they have no idea what they're talking about, which can be very misleading. |
|
Posted July 15, 2009 |

The staff needs to learn a little kindness and compassion. Here's what they do well: 1. Their clones are superior & produce more bud & less leaf. 2. Their edibles are superior - try their carmel crispy treat, it's awesome! 3. They sell some great bud: their Cheese and Urkles really get the job done. Prices vary and aren't necessarily a sign of quality. |

Big place with a large selection but none of the clones are what they say they are, can't speak for product since I have never tried it. I have been there many times before and after they moved and as a previous poster stated have always gotten attitude / hassled from one specific "bouncer" and the last time was the last time I won't be going back. There are way better clubs out there. |

Rip off artists! that should be their name not Organicann. Everything is overpriced and you never know what you are going to get. This club puts out a 1 gram sample in a little container that has holes in it but you cant really smell it because they try to buy in bulk so they get a discount then have the same sample out for weeks. After you look at their samples you pick which kind you want then you pay for it but can't see what you get untill outside but they don't offer refunds so when you open your bag and see it's all shake and little baby buds or it's not even the same thing you looked at then you're screwed. I have been to this club over 20 times and at least 7 or 8 times I have paid $55+tax=$62 for awful meds that had a good sample out, so do yourself a favor go elsewhere if you want a fair deal. |

What a great place to buy clean, excellent medicine. As a woman, I feel safe coming here with the strong security presence and lots of parking. I come here often and I am always treated with respect and kindness. The prices are low for the quality of the medicine. I always leave with a smile on my face and these days, a smile goes a long way! |

The reason the clones are so pricy is because they takes 50% of the money from clone vendors so if they were charging 8 now its 16 and so on. The reason the club is run the way it is, is because they are only in it for the money so no need for your regular club you are cattle to them. It is cool to check out, but the reality is there are much better clubs. |

The place is a cavernous warehouse like Costco. Very professionally run, with as much security as a military installation. I wish it were more like a medical dispensary! The huge square footage is ok if you're able-bodied, but if you are in constant pain when walking or standing like me, the place's size is a problem. Nice selection of bud, edibles, and concentrates. The "Grape God" is very nice. Prices could be better. I don't feel as comfortable here as I do at other dispensaries I visit. |

Security man at the gate read my name back to me like a police officer after I handed him my membership card. After I went in I wanted to browse a little but felt pressure and I was being very closely watched. I started to leave but felt like I was commiting a crime. So, I bought a gram of Sour Diesel which turned out to be very good. I think I'll try another club next time. |

Usually in the city, but up north sometimes and decided to give this place a try. I read some reviews and checked out their website which looked pretty good having recipes and monthly newsletters. And of course the only reason I am interested is because of the "Organic" Cannabis Foundation...thinking the meds are organic! |

I like the selection of bud, hash, joints and edibles. It looks like a box store with a long jewelry counter with samples in small plastic boxes. Each box has a magnifying side and holes for sniffing the merchandise. They also have a good selection of starter plants and offer monthly workshops for growing. |

Yes, large security guys can seem intimidating but isn't that the point? Preventing people from disrupting places where order and security are important like a dance club or cannabis club keeps those venues operating. Actually I found the security courteous and professional and their requests to keep my backpack and shades in the car wasn't a big deal. Those rules seem a small price to pay to enter a cannabis club, I mean really! For those who have been buying at clubs for awhile and the experience is so routine that the rules really annoy you: try to keep in mind how amazing this opportunity really is. |

I have tried a number of clubs in the area and I always come back here. The product is always good but more than that, this club is owned by an amazing woman who genuinely cares about the MMJ community as a whole and us, the patients. She hires people who share her enthusiasm and is very approachable. Because of the rigid laws these clubs must abide by, rules are needed and her security and staff follow the rules but do so with a warm, personal touch. People know me by name and always make their patients feel welcome. There is always a good selection of both strains and prices. They carry many edibles, tinctures, oils and kiefs and are expanding their grow department. This is not a club just out to make a profit - this is a place where patients go for care and compassion and there is never a shortage of that here. I can't say enough wonderful things about Organic Cannabis Foundation! |

Wonderful staff. Good medicine. Only note I got is that if you're buy'n outdoor, smell and really look at it. Might not be what you want (you are buying a cheaper 1/8)....so don't cry too much. Love and hope! Smoke herb! |

I have been there 3 times. They do rush you there, why, who knows, it's not like the parking lot was full. The prices seem reasonable. Organic Cannabis Foundation usually has a good selection of burnables and clones, but my latest visit there was a definite smaller selection of both. Friendly but pushy. Worth checking out if you're in the area. |

This was my first time at any cannabis club and I had a positive experience. Rules are posted online and prominently in the parking lot--no walkups, no cell phones, no smoking on site, etc. But I didn't feel a bad vibe at all, and wasn't rushed. Twenty + strains ranging from $35-$55 an 1/8 and some very generously filled joints for $10. Medicinal balms looked good but I didn't try them. I felt safe and welcomed and would definitely go there again. |

The place used to have a real good vibe to it with lots of smiling faces and good deals. But when they moved, something about the cold, cavernous warehouse they moved into must be having an effect on the people. They are colder, and more authoritarian, especially the guards. You cant even open the containers to smell the product anymore, and you feel rushed, watched, and there are absoloutly no daily sales anymore. What happened guys?? |

I've been reading reviews (mostly bad) about this club for sometime now. Well I found myself in Santa Rosa today and decided to stop by. Talk about a bunch of amateurs!! The owner really needs to get a clue. My advice is don't waste your time checking them out if you don't have too. The other clubs don't bite and this club has been around long enough to get the feedback and correct their image if they wanted. |

Organicann was my first cannabis club visit. The guards at the front are intimidating but you get over it pretty quick. I found that this club has a wide selection of foods and treats and their selection was pretty good. The staff seemed rushed and didn't give me the one on one help I needed, but overall it was a good experience. |

I have been to this store many times for my medicine. Although I have had some friendly service, it is uncomfortable. They do rush you sometimes. I like to look, not be rushed. They need more training for their employees. Hopefully they are fully trained on social and medical etiquette and treat everyone with proper respect. |

When I came here I didn't use their parking lot, and the guys at the gate told me to go back and get my car because you can't go in unless you park something in the lot. No walk-ins, but it's fairly remote so I can't see anybody walking to the place. You also need your papers from your doctor, not your OCBC or whatever card you hold. |

I have been going to Oraganicann since it first opened. It was cool, you could walk in and say hey. Now it's weird. The staff are in a rush to sell u whateve. If you havent been there in a while, they act like they dont care. As for the bodyguards, they be the nicest ones there! |

I agree with some of the other posters about the uncomfortable experiences at this place. I had been going here since it had the cheapest deals on 1/8ths that I know of ($25 but for low quality stuff). |

I go to this medical marijuana dispensary all the time. Easy in, easy out. Really big dispensary with really nice security staff. Comm and video screens, iron gate. You even get your own id, so they can accurately monitor your prescription status. |

The Organic Cannabis Foundation is a big club with a great selection of purple, but if you want anything else youre usually stuck with mid quality greens. On occasion, you can find cheese and og kush, but that is about it for good green here. |

Don’t bother with this place. Real nasty staff. |

Excellent counter and security staff. In fact, I can't imagine them treating me with any more kindness and respect than they do. Sure their security guys are big and tough-looking, but they always make me feel safe and welcome. |

This club does have it's rules. And makes
it clear as soon as you park. |

I had a great experience this morning. I got my picture taken for my new card then proceeded back to a fine selection of moderately priced medicine. A very friendly and efficient young lady waited on me. She could not have been nicer. The security guys look scary but that is a good thing. They are actually pretty cool! |

When this medical marijuana dispensary first opened, it was decent. People were friendly, product was good and the price was reasonable. However, after about a year, things noticeably changed. The youngs girls hired were unfriendly, sometimes rude, ignoring your questions, or altogether avoid serving you to serve someone else. The prices increased considerably, and left most disabled patients on fixed incomes no other choice, but back to the black market to get their medicine. |

I feel like a prisoner instead of a patient. When I visit the Organic Cannabis Foundation, I feel like I have done
something wrong. Being there actually aggravates one of the
very conditions I need to be medicated for. I only go there in
a dire emergency and only because it is the nearest club to my
home. |

The Northbay Wellness Group is now The Organic Cannabis
Foundation. |

Formerly Northbay Wellness, now called Organicann on Santa Rosa Avenue. This place is very uncomfortable to go to. The security guards look like gang members, and they rush you through as fast as they can to make room for more business. The people are very unfriendly, and the medicine is overpriced. Their clones are good quality but the prices are rediculous - they start at $16 per clone and go up from there. The selection of medicine was good, but again extremely overpriced. |
