San Francisco Medical Marijuana Patient Reviews

I don't believe it gets much better than SPARC. Very competitive prices and everything I've gotten from here has been top quality. The atmosphere is clean and the staff are courteous and friendly. The pricing on their 'specials' fluctuates on a daily basis, so what you've seen advertised may or may not be what is offered when you come by. That's my only caveat.

I love how SPARC focuses on cutting prices!

A newspaper article called SPARC the Apple store of cannabis dispensaries, and it's true: the place is hip, modern, and cool without a trace of Bob Marley. When you sign up, they give you a fancy card with a chip embedded in it, but you still have to show regular ID plus the card when you go, so that's not so impressive.

All the stuff is pre-packaged into grams, eights, quarters, and whole ounces, and you can't buy random amounts. As most legitimate dispensaries these days, they collect sales tax. Unlike most, they do take credit cards, and they give you some kind of purchase rebate that goes on your card. Last time, I discovered I had a $25 credit I could apply to my purchase. Cool.

They have edibles, kief, and hash, but I use only herb, so I can comment only on the herb. They analyze samples of their herb for THC/CBD/CBN content and publish their results. I'm not sure the numbers really mean much (2x the THC doesn't seem to mean the pot's 2x as strong, for example), but it's cool.

The location is, well, what can you say? It's Skid Row, but not that bad in the daytime. MUNI goes there (19, 47), and SPARC validates the first hour at the garage a block North. That first hour is only $1, so if you forget to get your ticket validated, it's not worth walking back LOL.

And here's the coolest part: they have started carrying OUTDOOR GROWN CANNABIS! That's great! It's just as good, more environmentally friendly, and much lower in price. A full ounce is $140-160, depending on variety. Even the quarter ounces go for $40-50.

But SPARC seems non-profit even with its indoor grown cannabis. Its highest price by the ounce is $280, while most other dispensaries charge around $400 an ounce for their strongest stuff.

SPARC is kind of out of the way for me, since I live in the Richmond, but I still make the trip. Give them a try! :)

This place keeps pissing me off so I'm done with it. I guess it's good for new time smokers, but if you are a true pothead you will be dissappointed. I have tried seven of there top shelf buds and nothing seems to make me happy. Yesterday, I bought some lemon kush and budda cheese and found baby seedlings in them. I took it back and they gave me my money back while still letting me keep the bud. That was ok I guess, but the bud is still trash. The people working there are super nice and talk real good but don't know their bud.

I've been here a couple of times and the folks are super friendly.  Atmosphere is nice, clean, and laid back inside.  The top shelf meds are great and it's great that they've lowered their quantity prices, even on the top items, to extremely competitive prices.

Surrounding area isn't Union Square or the Marina but it is not that bad.  San Francisco is diverse so you get some weirdo people in every area.  I've hung out extensively in this part of the city before and it is fine.  I'll definitely go back, probably this weekend.

I have visited this dispensary now over 5 times since they opened, and I am always satisfied with my purchases. Sept. 30th was the last day for the daily cheap 1/8th's, but they still have good prices on stuff like Sour Diesel and some other strains. I prefer to stay in the $45 and under range for my 1/8th's. SPARC SF is a great place!!

The staff at SPARC is so helpful, knowledgeable, and professional and they have a wide variety of offerings. This was my first time at a dispensary and I was kind of nervous, but that quickly went away the moment I started talking with the helpful staff. They took the time to understand my condition and needs, and they made recommendations and explained what each one will do for me. Since I have no experience with medical marijuana and I was unsure of dosages and confused by all the choices, they were kind enough to write down the effects of each one I bought and how much to use of each. SPARC is just wonderful! I can't recommend them highly enough.

This club sucks! The parking sucks and there are bums all around. We went on grand opening day and were totally ignored! They didn't allow our dog in, but made us wait outside forever just to make sure if he could or couldn't! We decided to try again a week later because we got a cupon for 2 free grams with a purchase of $50, but when we went this time there was not a soul in there, and the staff was not knowledgable nor had variety of bud, and no hash! They told us to come back later for more selection. What? Then they should have waited to open! The 3rd time won't be a charm.

Vanessa – First off let me apologize for your bad experience at SPARC. We strive to make this a comfortable environment for everyone and we take this kind of comment very seriously. Being the nature of the neighborhood we are in, many people attempt to bring in everything from lizards to pit bulls. In order to maintain a safe environment for everyone, we have a consistent no animals policy that applies across the board for all pets. We do offer dogs waiting outside water. As for parking, we offer one hour of validated parking at the garage in SOMA Grand just down the street from our location. Currently we are stocking 18 different strains of flowers, 7 kinds of edibles, 6 kinds of hash, several tincture and oils as well as kief. Our stock is continually changing and growing.

Outstanding club! High quality product, excellent prices and true customer service. There is such a relaxed and peaceful vibe at SPARC SF, it's an inviting and pleasant experience. I cannot wait to go back, they even offer vaporizers to sit down and use. They even offer meditation services, I cannot wait to go back!

I went for the first time today. I have been to quite a few dispensaries over the years and I have found my favorite. The staff is professional and friendly, and there's easy access parking all around. The product is absolutely first class! The prices are competitive, believe me this place rocks. Oh, and try the Volcano Vaporizer they offer for patient's use on site.
