I have been to many clubs out there, and this one was one of the smallest I have been to, but they do have a volcano with a couple of comfortable looking chairs around it. The selection of meds was alright, but they didn't seem to have a huge variety of different grades. Most clubs I have gone to usually have at least 3 different grades, a high grade, a mid-grade, and a low grade. They did have quite a few strains of their "mid-grade", which looked to be as outdoor or greenhouse at best and would probably be classified at least half a grade lower at the clubs I tend to go to, and they had a few strains of high grade which were good. The meds were good but when I went the meds were kept out on the table in direct light and those same jars that are constantly opened for every customer to look at and smell. I don't know about you guys, but I don't like my medicine to be left out in the light or the container the weed is stored in to be constantly opened and reopened. Also, the meds were not labeled with prices and this club charges tax.

I went to this club twice in one day as it was the closest club to my friends apartment, and it was the only one open late. The first time I went to this club I got one of their "mid-grades". That medicine was not the best I have smoked. Regularly I would have not purchased this quality, if it weren't for the fact that I was having a really bad migraine and was trying to save some money , as I was going shopping. After a non successful day of shopping I decided to go back to Sanctuary. I had a bunch of cash in my pocket and I thought that I had more then enough to get me a 1/2 ounce, however I barely walked out with $20. I wanted to get a 1/2 ounce of the top grade, as the "mid-grade" stuff I purchased earlier in the day didn't really do it for me.

I walked in and asked the guy behind the counter what was good that day, and he recommended two of the higher grade meds. I then asked him how much for an 1/8 he gave me attitude, which I thought was bs, but hey, it's his shop. Without the containers being labeled with the prices, who am I to argue? I then asked him how much it would be for a half and he told me he would give me a discount. Wow, what a great deal. $20 off because of the quantity? I think not. I had an astonished look on my face and then he said that he could give me a 1/4 of each of the high grades for that same price. Against my better judgement, I agreed. He weighed the medicine out in front of me on this scale which to my standards left much to be satisfied. He weighed the 1/4s out to 7.3 and 7.2 and told me he was giving me "fat 1/4s". He rang me up and the meds were good but for that price I expected more. He did throw in a free edible. Overall, not a bad club, but next time I will be taking my business to a more friendly, accommodating, and better located club who actually appreciates my business, and a club which gives better deals when you buy in quantity.

I came from the the north on a strain hunt and I gotta say the journey ended at The Sanctuary. A buddy and I drove into Oakland in the morning and were not impressed with the bland and played out strains that "Oaksterdam" had to offer. We called Sanctuary for directions and the staff was immediately helpful and courteous. We bought 3 clones from them, one of which was a 15" Sour Diesel cut that had extremely vigorous roots, lush foliage and best of all, completely spider mite free. There were many strains available the day we stopped in. I bought an 8th of the GDP and one of the staff asked if we had ever tried the "Cashmir". We replied no and he immediately packed a full load into the Volcano. Great staff, Great vibe. I will be stopping in on the the tenders at The Sanctuary whenever i am in town.

I've been to alot of clubs, ranging from the small and obscure to the big and well-known, from NorthBay to Oaktown/Berk plus the ones here in San Francisco. I gotta say that the one that gets my business these days is Sanctuary. The doormen are professional but chill, the staff very helpful and friendly. These guys really know their strains and took their time to help me find the right medicine that works for me, even when I have a pissy mood on top of my pain. Their buds are top shelf, plus they have a nice selection of edibles to take care of me when I don't or can't smoke.

I tried the Green Goddess that I heard about - a "quad-dose" - huge, super yummy and took care of what ailed me that day for sure!! They also comped me the Green Goddess chocolate cherry cookie which was a .7 dose, but still was a nice "working day" buzz and tasty as hell!! I was told the rest of their med-eds are 1 gram per (more quads on the way?). The label said "indica sugarleaf" and you could tell it wasn't any shwag crap. I'll be back for more, that's for sure!! The club just extended their hours till 10pm, I think, so all in all, I don't mind travelling to the other side of town to get such killer personal service. Sanctuary rocks!!

If your looking for some real high end strains, check out Sanctuary. Over the last few months they have greatly expanded both the number of strains they have, and the number of strains that are grade A+. The Gemstone and Blue Dream are a couple of current offerings that are amazing. Both very high on the crystal content and potency with very different effects. I haven't seen the gemstone anywhere else, so if you haven't had it, get over there now. The other great thing about this club is the awesome number of great indoor and outdoor strains at great prices. I rank this club as numero uno in the city!

I used to really like this club. Really chill, have a vaporizer to use. But yesterday I noticed the clones I got from them had spider mites. They were the ONLY plants in my veg room that had them. I'm talking out of the 4 mothers and 12 other plants at different stages they were the ONLY ones with mites. My room is clean and I spray a 3 in 1 spray every week to take care of mildew insects........ So I know these mites came from them. I tried to take them back and they just kep repeating that the clones don't have mites and told me they didn't want my clones in the store. I had these clones for a day and a half, and I know this out break couldn't be as strong as it was in a day and a half. Eggs take time to hatch and some leaves had like 10 mites!!!!

I know what your thinking, why didn't you check before you left? I have bought clones from them on several different occasions and have always been happy. And when I looked at the clones they were extremely rooted. It's still my fault for the rookie mistake but I know those clones had mites when I bought them. So don't even risk it.

Dude i have been to alot of other clubs but this place ROCKS!! They had like 32 strains and a staff that knows alot about the medicine they carry and the hash selection and price is by far best in town i got GDP indoor usually $60 for an eight @ Sanctuary they have top shelf bomb-ass GDP for $45 an eight ck the city of god hash +++

Sanctuary is the first and only club I have visited in California. Since I first called for directions the staff has been kind and polite. Every time I've been there they have had many types to chose from. They have beautiful Hash I have not tried, but it looks great. I haven't bought any clones, but looking at them they seemed healthy, and bug free.They never rush me and answer all my questions. Even helping me to load and use the Volcano, which is a great way to medicate without sharing pipes, etc. with strangers! Super Silver Haze is great, as was the AFgoo...

As a first timer @ The Sanctuary, I wasn't too impressed with this dispensary. The strain selection was super low the day I went (only 3 strains) and there were no free gifts for a new patient like myself.

I ended up picking up a gram of o.g. kush (the high was on point) and going on my way. I told the staff of 3 (which included a cute dog) how I came all the way from the other side of the Bay Bridge to get my medicine, but still no new patient love.

The staff was very friendly.

Place was chill, I was warmly greeted by the staff of 3 that day. All they had was grape punch, they said they sold out of their other buds earlier. I got an 8th of that grape punch, some cookies, brownies and they threw in a free snicker doodle. They had a volcano there and allowed me to vape. That grape punch was great. Volcanos always get me on the 1st round, especially when it's some premium stuff. Before I left I bought some kief and walked out felling great. Will be back!

This place is the worst club I've been too and I have been to a lot of them! Their meds were premature, and tasted very bad. It literally tasted like grass from outside! Don't waste your time going here!

My main mission today was to find some clones. I went to a place nearby the very friendly guy at the bar told me he couldn't help me but directed me to Sanctuary. I did look over his wares and they did look nice but as I said my main focus for the day was clones.

Upon arrival at the Sanctuary I was greeted by two friendly doormen and then again inside by a very helpfull young lady. They had the clonesIi was looking for and showed me a binder of more clone strains to come in later in the week. I will return.

Best of all I went with a buddy and we sat down to the vaporizor there a feature much appreciated to sample some grape ape I had purchased. My friend was leaning back on what he thought was the couch. It turned out to be a very cool pit bull that makes sure stuff runs smoothly! This place rocks only draw back is its a bit "cozy" inside. I'll be back 4 more.

This place is really small but offers high quality merchandise. The medicine is a bit pricey but you do get what you pay for. They offer quality clones as well which aren't pricey at all.

Sanctuary also has a volcano which you can vape out of while you chill in some bean bag chairs.

Overall it is a very good club. I'd say if you're not on a real tight budget try some of the product here.

Came in here for the first time yesterday and I gotta say I got a great vibe from these peeps. It is a small club, intimate, but very nice quality stuff. On this day, I was looking for one clone to add to my mother collection. They had three varities: Purple Kush, Grandaddy Purple, and The Church. I have both the purple strains already, so I decided to try the Church. All the clones looked really healthy and cared for. Green, fat leaves and a nice little root system. They gave me my baby girl in a cute little bag with tissue paper (looked like I went to a boutique) with a picture and description of the strain included in the bag. They also threw in a 420 energy drink (no cannabis in the beverage) and a couple of business cards for friends. The lady at the counter was warm and caring, and seemed to know a lot about every item sold in the store. The guy at the door was very nice--not stuck up or snobby at all (like other clubs I've been to in SF), and they have a really sweet big dog who chills on his pillow then greets you with a sniff! Although it's a small place, they had about 15 varieties of medicine clearly displayed on the top of a glass case--all in clear square containers with a good amount in each one for viewing and smelling purposes. They also have a big magnifying glass for a closer look and trichome viewing. Inside the case they have several types of hash which looked amazing, but I didn't buy anything besides the clone. I will be going back to Sanctuary when I get paid--their selection was not huge, but everything they had looks like grade A, top notch meds. They usually have a couple kinds of oil--although they were out when I came in. Good vibes from this place all around--much more easy-going than some other clubs in SF, and they do have a volcano vape for your pleasure!

Ok I used to be a CMC patient but recently discovered Sanctuary. This lil boutique is awesome, they concentrate on quality versus something for resale everything they have is indoor top shelf. I have been noticing a lot of green house in some other clubs selling for the same price. The staff is great there was a guy who was a jerk but he got fired so everyone there lately is really cool and chill with a ready to help me attitude... that means a lot thanks guys and the girl too.

Besides paying $60 an 8th for medicine this club owns by far. They have hash, lower grade medicine, and very high grade. Better manicured, better smelling looking everything here and I have been willing to travel to them for some time!

I love having this shop so close to my house. The staff are wonderful, friendly, and knowledgeable. Best cookies ever - way better than the "official" versions making the rounds.

Go there an grab that super bubbakush, damn two vapor bags to the face, and you'll be out. Now I, have been using medical cannabis since my cancer started in 2004, but the staff understands what us patients go though, and help me buy offering compassion, when I really need it. Thank you Green Cross, and my friends at the Sanctuary.

I was really happy to know that the Sanctuary, carries baby clones. Before I had found the Sanctuary, I was wanting A lot of gas driving in circles. No more, every Monday they get new babies, and the sections are great.

They also have the highest grade of Cannabis that I have seen in a long time. Just "FROSTED" with THC.

But best of all, there staff is the most Kind, and repectful, towards patients. I have been to A lot of collectives, but I won't be going anywhere else anymore!!!!!!!

Living in Lower Nob Hill there are half a dozen clubs located within a short walking distance. I've tried them all enough times over the past 2 years and Sanctuary is where I keep going back. Small n friendly, the best dog & fish tank! Smaller selection but always excellent quality. Great pre-rolled, supershake and best hi-end buds in a cool clear plastic box.

Great place, but i wish the staff was a little better. I bought a whole bunch of lolipops and they taste like cough syrup, and they will not let me exchange it, or return. I know they didn't make it, but still, they could have help me better. I talked to their manager, and he said,(they <lollipops> always taste like soap to me.) A lot of confidence in his product!!!!! I guess I will be looking for a new shop.
