Wow, what this place lacks in square footage is more than compensated by incredible meds. We got great bud but the tincture was over the top amazing. I'm a tincture fan because you don't have to smoke it, and the effects are incredible. This one by 'Tru Weed' was the best I've ever had. I should also say the staff here was super friendly and helpful. Thanks, Love Shack!

For the past 7 years the Love Shack has provided the highest quality of service and product to medical marijuana patients. They strive to set the example of how a local neighborhood Cannabis Club should operate in regards to the compassion they show to their patients and the level of respect in terms of cleanliness, safety and traffic control that they show the Valencia Corridor neighborhood.

I have lived in the area for 10 years, have been a patient for 7, and have travelled to many clubs. I have seen and experienced at the Love Shack nothing but friendly, knowledgeable staff that is more than willing to provide information, guidance and assistance to their customers. Other clubs in the area don't have what the Love Shack offers, beginning with quality cannabis at affordable rates and a staff that understands the needs of their patients.

Anybody who hasn't had a positive experience at the Love Shack brought their own negativity. Show some Love and Respect to your providers !

F the love shack. Seriously! I went there as a first time customer and received the most apathetic service a 420 patient could get. A cannabis club is supposed to send out positive messages and repect for their customers. I felt harrassed to spend more money than I could afford. It's a cannabis club!! The guy that was supposed to help me kicked me out and banned me from the store because I'd asked too many questions (like 2 or three) that he didn't feel like answering about the price, weight, and taste of what he had.

In Los Angeles you still get some respect, but I feel like a place calling themselves the "love shack" should really keep their staff in check about the vibe they unabashedly put out. They have some bad chi on their weed people!

No love at the Love Shack!!! Fake!!!

Their weed will probably give you a stomach ache or make your eyes all scratchy anyway. It would probably be smart to bring your own scale with you as they are very miserly!

These guys don't like to allow people in without an actual card (state ID, OCBC, Medicann...) but if you ask nicely they will let you in with the recomm. Thats the only reason I rate 4 stars. Other than that, very high quality medicine capped at 55/8th for the stuff they had to pay more for. The edibles were potent and relatively cheap, and they have quite a large selection. The guys working there are really chill and helpful. I bought a gram of romulan, and a good amount of edibles and the guy gave me a free triple dose cookie and packed me a fat bowl of OG Kush to try out in one of their bongs. RECOMMENDED if you HAVE YOUR CARD! :)

I drove to The Love Shack from northern Arkansas. Great selection. Bought 10 different types of bud, 5 types hash, and two types hash oil, not forgetting to mention the edibles. Price is high but quality is unbelievable. I felt like a kid in a candy store. Takes my mind off the pain.

I love the Love Shack because they have great hash at the best price in Calif. If you are a fortunate one to be a member of this club, then you are set. Great herb, great prices, and friendly staff. Small, and quaint location.

All other clubs should study them to see how it's done right. If they turned you away in the past, give em another try.

All right first of all they're not going to let you in without your actual card. They unfortunately do not take Doctors Rec.s but that was the only bad thing I experienced. I even forgot my money at home and he let me come back which isn't really allowed. Overall great medicine, great prices, great server. The guy with short light brown hair was really knowledgeable about all the choices. And you can medicate so it's always a plus.

The Love Shack is the best of the best, in all respects. I noticed some "sour grapes" types of reviews below, and feel compelled to respond. Anyone who knows the Shack, and its staff, knows that they are firmly committed to the medical maijuana movement.

They bend over backwards to meet the needs of patients, jump through every hoop the city has placed in front of them, and generally work very hard to be a positive force, not just for the medical maijuana community, but the larger community as well. Nothing but the highest praise and admiration for the Love Shack.

Perfect place..... excellent customer service... you get a lighter with every purchace! You can chill there for 20 minutes to try out the goods on their beautiful bongs... I love the sanitation wipes as a piece of mind for cleanliness! A cup of bottled water? Yes!! And free scraps of munchies!! Yes, Yes!!! Cool music. Cool art posters... oh and the point of this review..... the medicine is hot!

This co-op has product that only some customers are allowed to know about. In a recent visit, the staff offered product to a customer that was not written on the board. The women who seems in charge because she is bossy, said something about a "new memo" coming about this "high grade product". But apparently some customers have the privilege of getting unlisted product before the memo.

Seems Love Shack is only concerned with keeping their own staff and selves medicated, and if you are a lucky customer then you get to know about product that is not listed on the board. I have felt for a while now this place has become greedy and seedy. I will not go back there again when another club has better product anyway. I went there because of convenience. I would rather go without than go back to Love Shack.

This place is bogus! Even with an official mm certificate, I was not allowed in. I've never been turned away from any other dispensary. They even laughed as he turned me away. Get real, the joke's on you love shack!

I am so glad that the Loveshack was the first dispensary I visited. I've been to a few others since but it will be the Loveshack that I'll return to get my medication.

The staff was friendly and informative. They let me take my time to ask questions and to make my selections. They are a merit to the community.

Well, I have to say that I have never been turned away. I had the club sticker for the 2 years. After that I said hey you got a sticker and was told hell no you don't need one buddy...

I have been to about 14 clubs in the bay area, and time after time the Love Shack beats them all hands down. What other shop gives you a free gift when ya buy a 1/2 or better... God bless! The Love Shack helps kill my pain and my wife can leave the house now!

Honestly, I don't know what I'd do without the Love Shack. The Love Shack staff have always provided me with the best service, quality cannabis and compassion. They are a great and honest group of people and hurray for their sense of humor too! I'm sure they wish they could offer an open door to all patients, but they have an extremely tiny space, they had to go private.

The love shack used to be one of the best clubs in San Francisco, even after they went private. Then they raised their prices. Just cause you cut off half youre patients doesnt mean you should raise the price for every one else! I will go back when the prices go back down, if they ever go back down.

I live in the Mission and have patronized the Love Shack for at least 2 years. Although they do quite often run out of the strain that helps me the most, it is a very nice club to go to. With some of the cheapest prices around (unless you grow your own), I am not suprised they do run out of my personal favorite.

The people that operate the club have always treated myself and my dog, Ralph, with the utmost respect and courtesy. I have never felt exploited or used by them.

This club rocked when it first opened...and then they went private. They gave up compassion for placating their yuppie neighbors. They excluded the very community that gave them life in the first place. Since they don't support the medical cannabis community, since they remain exclusive profiteers, I say screw em'. They do not deserve support from the medical cannabis community.

Never in my life have I ever seen such a blatent excuse for a "cannabis club" operating for al the wrong reasons. I am a terminally ill aids patient and thought all medical marijuana patients were equal. However, I was treated like a piece of dirt by the fake security guard and the manager refused to give me the information to file a complaint.

I was once a happy regular at the Love Shack. I loved their friendly   staff, good prices, and chill atmosphere. But that all changed once they became private. I was even a member of theirs for a little while- and while I was, I watched the quality in medicine and service go down. Their new (and probably current) doorman has poorer social and communication skills than my pet rock.

One day I was dropping by, gave the doorman my card- at which point he stared blankly at me for a second and then stepped inside, taking my card and leaving me outside, confused. He eventually came back, handed me back my card (he had scraped off their membership sticker) and told me I couldn't come back in. I asked him 2 times why, to which he didn't respond. I asked a third time, to which he finally said- "I saw you selling outside the club, don't come back". Before I could even defend myself, he shut the door in my face and stepped back inside.

I was infuriated at first, considering I've never done what he accused me of. Also, I was a loyal regular who had been courteous and respectful of the staff and the premises for over a year. If they treated me like that, imagine how much compassion they have for their new and prospective customers.

In the end, there several clubs within a 5 block radius of the Love Shack that have friendlier staff, and higher quality medicine without the horrible attitude.

I am a member of this club.....it took 6 months to wait for the window to apply and when the time came around, I applied and got in... I was a little put off that this was how it had to happen to walk in the door....but hey...it is their business and their decision.

I must say that the bud I have gotten from them has not been great....it may look fairly good, but it has not been the strongest.....the prices are very good and the people are very nice...good weight and all that....just not that impressed with the buds. They now have the lollipops that the vapor room has....so i will go back for those.

I was all excited when I first got my card. =) I heard great things about the Love Shack, so I found parking and hiked happily up to the door.

I was greeted (after a lengthy wait because the bouncer was talking to another patient) at the door by a bored looking expression. I handed the door guy my card and smiled and asked him how he was. He didn't respond, but scrutinized my card.

"First day, huh?"
"Yep!" I said, smiling back.
"You can't come in." He didn't even smile at me as he handed my card back.
"I'm sorry, is my card not okay?" I asked.
"We are a private club. You need to have a card from us."
"Well, how do I get one?" I asked, still patiently.
"You don't." He said.
"So, you aren't accepting new members?" I asked the doorman, just to be sure. Quite honestly, I thought I would call and tell the manager that their door guy was being rude.
"Oh, we'll do a rotation around April....."he stated, then stared off into the air.

I walked away, and have never been back. I hate to knock the club when I haven't actually been inside, however, I was treated badly enough to feel it's justified. I was treated like a piece of bubblegum on this door guy's shoes.

I'm a clean, nice, regular person and if that's how I get treated at the Love Shack, then I'm not coming back in April- or ever!!!

This place is very consistent with a great variety of very good strains. Always professional, yet friendly too. Very laid back atmosphere. I make an effort to go here, because the east bay doesn't have quite the selection of medical clubs as SF.

And, out of ALL the clubs in SF, this one has the best overall: prices, caregivers, patients, location, strains & personality!

The best club in the Bay Area! Great prices, pleasant staff, the owner is a real friend and supporter of the MJM community in San Francisco. Defiantly a 5 Star club!
