The organic og kush is no good! No taste, no smell, and no high. I also tried master kush from here before and that was also garbage. Their purps are ok. The granddaddy and the sour grapes are good, but the sour grapes looks nothing like the picture they post. The green cross was one of the best clubs when they were on 22nd, but now I guess they lowered their expectations and they need to step their game up.

Warning! This club has become extremely commercialized. They have lost their quality, and went with mass production. I have eaten a half dozen of their baked cookies all at once, and felt nothing! They solicit reviews on their web site by rewarding those that give good reviews with baked goods. Their weed has genetically lost it's strength, and there can no longer be any medicinal value to their products. There are many new delivery services that have popped up out there, and just about any of them are better then Green Cross. I will never go back, and would never allow a friend to waste his money there.

I have loved the Green Cross ever since the very first time I visited their former location on 22nd (I think it was 22nd). Anyway they always have top quality meds and excellent service. Not to mention great prices and often nice discounts as well. And the best part is they deliver right to your door, what more could you ask for?!

Absolute bad service and non-long-lasting meds! Had a really bad experience with this place. Person took over 30 minutes and keep calling every 10 minutes and finally showed up acting as if he did nothign wrong. I had to tell him that he was late and then made me feel like crapfor his problem. The meds are weak. Just tried their kief for the 1st time, and that was good, but generally this place has weak meds. I will not go back anymore. You lost a customer. If you want cheap weak meds with the worst service from drivers, go here. If not, try other. Maybe Hopenet. Their weed is bomb storng, but pricy. Any one know a better club?

I can't say enough good things about the green cross. For ease of service and friendliness of staff, they can't be beat. They always have a wide selection of indicas, sativas and hybrids as well as edibles and deliver it right to your door within an hour. I must agree with the guy that's talking about the smart cars below. The weed is dry and it smells weak and crumbly. Nugs like precut as if skimping bags. I just don't trust this place. They used to care about their own product but they don't as of about 4 or 5 months ago. The edibles are so good, but they don't have any meds in it. At least that's what I experienced. No effect from an edible, wtf? They drive smart cars but just because you drive them doesn't make the meds change their weak potency. Well that's all, this co-op sucks. You would be better off if you went another place.

Okay, they drive smart cars, they are polite, but in a recent email from the Green Cross, they are against Tom Ammiano's initiative to tax marijuana. They charge tax when the owner himself is against taxing cannabis. Now the weed itself, dry, weak, and I have eaten 4 cannacookies before and never felt a thing. Delivery is great and all, but if you know your weed at all you will know theirs is bad.

From day one everyone has been so incredibly nice and friendly, every chance I get I steer patients in their direction. The first person I had ever spoken to at TGC was so helpful in making sure I knew exactly what documentation I needed in order to make the intake process as smoothly as possible. Aside from the delivery guys being super cute (and always on time) they are always well dressed and courteous and are very friendly.

Green Cross always has an excellent selection of medicines to accommodate the broad scope of patient needs and the baked goods are really tasty and very effective, especially the rice crispy /fruity pebble treat and my favorite the blueberry craze cookie. I love that icing, it's so good!

Support The Green Cross, they are a valuable asset to cannabis patients in S.F. who might not be able to get to an actual walk in style dispensary.

The Green Cross is hands down the best dispensary in the San Francisco area.

They usually have a few items that are on special and sell the Volcano Vaporizer cheaper than getting it from the actual distributor. They almost always deliver in under an hour and sometimes throw in a free edible with your order. Signing up was quick and easy and probably took me less than 5 minutes. Everyone there is friendly and very knowledgeable.

I would recommend The Green Cross to anybody.

I just had to write an update now that I have been ordering from these guys for a while now. Still professional, kind, prompt, and their prices are extremely reasonable, but, twice in two months have I called and ordered something brand new to the menu and really, really enjoyed it, but when I went to call back in three days they were out already. I really like to find a strain I like and be able to order it more then just once. If someone finds something they really like, and it is new to the menu, then they should be able to get it a few more times right?

They have a full menu with prices online so if you are looking for a certain medication you will know if they have it. They have the Low prices when compared to other walk in dispensaries. The quality of their medication is great. Their prices for larger quantities is outstanding and they routinely have specials on top of that. It was just a great experience. If you are tired of getting overcharged at places then you should go to The Green Cross.

I have been a patient of the Green Cross for almost 3 years and I absolutely love it! They have the best prices for marijuana in the bay area, plus you can mix and match and they always have excellent specials going on. Their staff is always friendly and courteous, and they hook it up with free edibles if you order before 2pm (and they always give you a fruit snack). If I need more than an ounce I can just call a second time and get more added to my order (it just has to be a seperate order but it can be delivered at the same time).

Since I live outside the city, I usually meet them somewhere around Harrison and they arrive 10 minutes later, credit card machine and all. Pictures are usually posted on the website, but if you aren't sure what you want the staff is very knowledgeable and can let you know what strands are better or can ask about the condition or effect or any strain. The best weed I have ever smoked is Dragon's Breath, it tastes like no other weed in the world! Definitely a must try, especially if you like a nice flavor and an upbeat high. Once I did get some medication that I did not like but I called to let them know and they met back up with me to exchange it for something else with no hassle! This club is really about serving the patients, not about getting you for your money. Green Cross, Thank you for all that you do! I don't know where I would be without you!

What is wrong with this place? I stopped ordering because I had to renew my card, then ordered and the meds are complete horrible! The indica got me blazed, but not for long and the Willams Wonder I got was absolute horrible also. Didn't get me anything. Take advice from most the postings here. The Green Cross is going down hill fast. If you want quality meds like you had before, go somewhere else because this place is not what it once was 4, 5 months ago. Might try Grass Roots they also sell seeds and saplings... anyways Green Cross disapoints!

The Green Cross is the best club to go for the everyday working man. Best prices vs. value out of any club I've been able to find in the Bay Area. Since I lost my job and have gone on unemployment, it has been a great help to be able to get the Mix-A-Lot ounce; the price is right for the quality you get. Most of the times the Mix-A-Lot's are fantastic, sometimes there will be a lot of one or two strain's which isn't necessarily a bad thing though! The edibles are some of the tastiest and easiest to eat I've ever found and the potency is perfect. If you have the money and just spend a bit more you can get an ounce of their high quality buds, you can even get 8 different eigths if you want!
The Green Cross is the place to go in the SF bay area.

The Green Cross never manages to disappoint. Their strains are always pretty sure to the description, which I respect greatly, and they are timely with deliveries. They have great people working there, everyone is nice, helpful and polite. The people who take your orders are very helpful and can always suggest good stuff if you're not exactly sure what you want. They update and turn over their stuff often enough so I don't get bored looking at the same stuff. The only reason I don't give them 5 stars is because sometimes when I buy from the Green Cross their 8ths are less than they should be. Granted sometimes the buds are just super fat, but sometimes I get more stem than other times and I still have to pay the same price for these thick stems. Overall Green Cross is great - it's super convenient and they have great quality merchandise.

They have a full menu with prices online so if you are looking for a certain medication you will know if they have it. We need to support those like The Green Cross that have a full up to date online menu. They have the low prices when compared to other walk in dispensaries. The quality of their medication is great and it was not dried out like it is at most dispensaries. I got a top quality eighth for $50 (yes tax included) and I weighed it at home it came out to 3.7 grams so that was nice. Their prices for larger quantities is outstanding ($315 per OZ) and they routinely have specials on top of that. On my first delivery they gave me a huge bag that included free gifts like a large glass storage container, edible pipe, large brownie, a nice storage container for joints, and a few other items. It was just a great experience.

They are not the closest dispensary to me but due to their great prices, quality, and customer service they will now be my "go to". I am so glad I found them. If you are tired of getting overcharged at places then you should definitely go to The Green Cross. What a wonderful experience!

I keep wondering if people select the Green Cross by mistake for the review board. I've never seen anything from these guys with seeds in it, and everything has always weighed over by a couple tenths of a gram. And for all you haters out there, yes, if you get an oz for $225, it's going to be worth what you pay. If you want $315 oz quality, then order the high quality. I can't believe these cheapskates complain.

Also, they guarantee everything if you aren't satisfied, read the webpage! Oh yeah, these cats are super professional to boot, from the becoming a member process, on the phones, and the delivery drivers are dressed nice and very discreet. If you want to put your nose in the jar before you choose, get off your lazy butt and drive to a club where you can do that. If you want to remain on your lazy butt and have some pros bring you good quality buds to your front door, call Green Cross. My favorite has been Afghani Grandaddy - best pain relief not called Vicodin. Thanks Green Cross, keep it real.

I've been going to GC for years. That said I've been unhappy with my last four purchases. The medicine was old, stale, not very active, no smell, no sticky. I've not seen any medicine I would order these past weeks, too risky for expensive old medicine. GC was great in the past...not now..going downhill fast!

Successful medicinal healing and business are based on relationships. Further, many people don’t completely understand the nature of their ailments and the proper remedy. Diagnosis - Prognosis.

Having been a victim of two serious bicycle and automobile accidents, I’ve learned that pain relief is important in the medicine I choose. Also, some anxiety and insomnia relief are important to my personal situation.

I have worked extensively for three years now with all the good people at The Green Cross to learn the specific benefits of each strain, Indica vs Sativa, and the different medicinal benefits of each variety provided. For my needs, Indica proved to work best. I sampled Sativa, but the energy level was too intense and I could not sleep. Sometimes the medicine I’ve purchased from The Green Cross is a little too strong.

I have sampled many varieties, and when I find the right fit, I purchase ounces because of the incredible value that they deliver. When it comes to selection, value and integrity, The Green Cross is second to none. On a couple occasions, I miscommunicated my needs to the staff and both times they stepped up to assure me that our relationship and my satisfaction meant more than the one-off sale.

San Francisco is one of the top tourist destinations in the world! In my experience, I don’t understand the one-off negative reviews? Do you really feel safe in American cities at night?

Horrible!!! The first time I ordered I got beautiful, large, heavy hitting medicine and they gave me several presents, like a medicine jar.

The second, third, and fourth times I've ordered, everything changed. The medicine looked horrible, and had none of the flavors or highs they describe in their site. Actually the taste was nasty, really low quality stuff. One of my eights was even missing one whole gram. I called to tell them about it and they didn't replace it or even care about my complaint.

Don't even think about ordering their specials, they're trying to get rid of the lame stuff they don't sell. I bought 1/2 oz Blueberry last week and I'd rather smoke Mexican Brick with stems and seeds than their "specials".

The GDP is ok though, but after smoking it for a while it won't hit like it should.

On the lighter side, the staff is friendly and the delivery of your low quality medicine is really fast, and they take debit card too.

I have been buying form these people for so many months and every time I bought 1/8 to try, it was ok except the weight is always different and some times the bags are open and the sticker is also loose on some packages. I always weigh them and never two the same weight. Usually one is always less than what it should be, but the strength was ok except when I order the same thing a second time, I usually get very different quality. Usually way worse. This time I got m-38 and it is nothing but seeds, tastes horrible and each 1/4 was a different weight. I am going to tell every one I know in this area.

I have been driving 30 minutes past so many months to go to this dispensary, first when you order is good the second time it is very different, specially this time I ordered 1/4 of 4 kind that I thought I will get the same as time before which was 1/8 to try, very different specially m-38 was so bad full of seeds, it is never the right weight, some are always open unfortunately there is no way of knowing if you got the same thing until you go home and than it is too late..
I will never go there again.

My friend just bought some from these people and it is horrible, the weight was wrong for 1/4 and the weed was full of seeds. The bag was open and unfortunately they deliver so you don't know what you're getting and if it is the right weight until you are home.

I and I broke my finger and had to go to the damn hospital. Turns out, there is 13,000 nerve endings in the fingertip-Ow!!!! And, I thought I was all good until I went into shock. After getting the splint, I used medicine from these root doctors and now I'm releasing my 44 track album! I can experience relief enough to play bass, drums, and guitar. The fracture happened in October. It still hurts some but these healers are good to their craft, five glowing stars!

Here's the thing about the Green Cross -- you don't have to put up with douchey door guys or worry about leaving a sketchy looking building in a sketchy part of town with a small paper bag that everyone knows what's in it. All you have to do is call, order, and wait for the happy guy in the happy little smart car.

I love the Green Cross. Sometimes I just look at the website's menu, in the same way that normal people look at the Food Network. Yes, that looks good. Oooh, that too. And, oh, I like that.

All of the prices are standardized, so you do need to figure out on your own what's good and worth the price and what's bad and not worth it. The edibles are more expensive than you would pay at the store front dispensaries. For me that's no big deal, because I purchase edibles on a whim usually.

But, if you order before 2 from the Green Cross, you get a free edible. (the brownies are awesome)

I love the Green Cross, you order, you get, they request that you not make small talk. You can pay with debit. It's awesome.

The staff at The Green Cross are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. You can register via fax, email or in person for a new patient account. They sorted me out in just a few minutes. Another bonus: they create a club ID card for you so if you don't travel, there's no need to pay for a state card, all you need is your Rx letter.

The Green Cross selection is varied and changes frequently, but favorites return again and again. The delivery service is the most important part, to me. I was once on the floor with a terrible migraine and could not have left the house but Green Cross delivered my medicine and I felt better quickly.

They offer discounts intermittently so check the website for specials before ordering and to see the menu.

Super friendly staff, their drivers are always very professional and friendly. Sadly, their bud isn't up to quality standards with other clubs in the area. If they brought their prices down to about $40/ 8th, I would use their services more.

Also, I think their edibles contain very little medicine. They claim to use "twice the rx magic" in each edible now, but I feel as if it is the same as before (I need to eat 3 edibles to get the mild effects of thc) and also the amount of thc listed on the label hasn't changed.

All in all, a great, non-profit club, but unless I'm buying a half ounce or more I won't use them.

After having been to every club in the city, The Green Cross has satisfied me in every way. Every strain is the same price. Discounts when purchasing 2 or more 8ths. Buy an ounce and every 8th costs less than 41 dollars. Mix and match 8ths. Order before 2pm and get a free 7 dollar item of your choice. And delivery not only to your home but almost anywhere you may be in San Francisco!! Plus, the first time they come to you they bring you a whole welcoming package. Did I mention that if you are unhappy with a particular strain you can get a full exchange? You smoke a gram and don't like it, they exchange it for their 8ths, which weigh more than 3.5 anyway. I only go to the clubs on the street when I got short money, otherwise saving for their product is well worth it.

Always a great club to deal with, I love this place and they are always sweet to talk with. So a few things, the lemon drop cookies are just crazy nuts good! Best tasting edible I have ever had. The selection of bud is good. One time they had a strain called "Sweet Nightmare", and it is hard for anything to top how good that was, I look for it on their site weekly and it is yet to show it's face again but anyway, the bud and choices are still good. If you have never tried these guys, get on it!

The Green Cross is by far the best club in the city. Polite staff make sure all your needs are met and always offer frank advise when asked. The quality and price is always good and their professionalism is unsurpassed. I have been a patient for 6 years and have used the Green Cross from the beginning.

The only complaint I have is that the new web site is not as good as the old one. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. The old site was much more user friendly than the new one. I guess it's still in development, but you had a really good web site already.

This place delivers!

Once you get the paper work set this is a great place to go ( or have them come to you ). Log on, look it up on the site ( which is updated all the time ) and you will get the most fresh items they have to offer and the first time you do they provide you with a cool jar to help things stay that way. Things come wrapped up nice and tight and it looks just like it is shown on the site.

The Green Cross has a style about them. Despite the changes that many of the cannabis clubs have to go through, Green Cross crew obviously puts effort into the services they provide. They do their best to remain fair and carry the business with great professionalism. Mistakes happen in every business, but the Green Cross is one of those types of businesses that fix the mistake if needed. They'll take the time to do the little things that other clubs overlook. They will almost go out of their way for their patients depending on the situation. This to me is what a business should stand for. Honesty, integrity, and the love for the people that they serve, not just the love of what they do and the benefits it brings.

I've been using the Green Cross for more than 2 years and these guys are all great. They are extremely polite on the phone and they are on time for delivery 95% of the time, which in San Francisco is fantastic!! What can I say that hasn't been said before? The Green Cross is SF's premier provider.

The delivery has never taken longer than 1 hour, the drivers are always friendly and chatty, and the prices are the fairest.

To be honest though, the bud quality thus far has been 3-4 star quality. I haven't been to more than 2-3 places in the bay area, but in San Diego they had far more crystals and a more pungent smell.

Either way, it's a great idea to sign up initially. Weed to anywhere in SF in 1 hour? What do you have to lose?

The Greencross is by far the best price for the quality anywhere in San Fran. Other brick and mortar stores will once in a while have something good, but not consistently like the greencross. I have tried every dispensary in the area but use the Greencross almost everyday and I am very pleased with their service and product.

I have been a customer of The Greencross for some time. I have also been to numerous dispensaries around the city. I buy almost daily from The Greencross. The quality is such that I do not need to see the product because my expierence with them makes me confident I will be happy and I have always been. The delivery drivers are polite and courteous, and the prices can't be beat. No dispensary in town can beat the Greencross on quality, consistency and service!

I love their delivery service, which is always very reliable, especially when you have skeletal-muscular pains & you don`t want to go anywhere. Their herb and hash is usually top-notch. (I highly recommend their Hindu Kush Skunk - very dreamy!!) Their hash oil is also very good. My only complaint is with the edibles, (which only have .8 of gram) which I think are pretty weak. Maybe they don`t cook their butter/oil long enough. Regardless,they have great weed and quality hash/kief, so stick to that and you won`t go wrong. I should also mention that they have tons of Indica varieties - good ones!

I have said it before, and I will say it again. The Green Cross is the best choice for medicinal marijuana! They always have a strain available that will help you, no matter what your needs are. The staff is friendly, knowledgable and the delivery drivers are always on time and very professional. I have chronic pain as well as a myriad of medical issues, and the staff at Green Cross has always treated me with respect and understanding, making my life easier in many ways! I was pretty upset with the service... The buds are not what the they are pictured. Dont get me wrong they very lightly did the job, but how they are pictured is what you should get. The edibles are unbelievably tasty tho : ) Cant complain about those.

Ok, let me just start off by saying that this club has best edibles in the city bar none. The reason being, I became a member as 1/9/09 and got this member package with was kinda cool. My fiance ended up eating the oatmeal choco chip and was gone for at least 20 hrs ..lol. The weed on the other hand was horrible, I wouldn't even give it away that's how bad it was. Last about 10 mins, the strain was super jack. I will try a few more times but none more.

My once a month pilgrimage to the city for my 420 meds has been made a whole lot easier.

Instead of driving to the club first or trying to get there before they close, I now have another option. Go to one of the many great restaurants, call the green cross and place an order, and they come to me anywhere in sf city limits.

And to put a cherry on this cake the weed is great too! :)

Great service and products. I live 40 minutes away from the city, but I still come up every week to buy my meds from them. They have a great selection of high quality strains. All at the best prices I've seen in the city. Good selection of Indica, Sativa, and hybrids are always available. I've never had a problem with their service, all their drivers are professional but friendly as well. Delivery is always really fast. They also have a very large selection of edibles, and other alternatives. 5/5 for The Green Cross.

I am a medical patient who has tried medicine from all over the state and from many dispensaries in SF. I prefer The Greencross because I know the quality will always be A+. The staff is always polite when ordering and the deliveries are so quick it always makes me wonder how they do it so well! Also the menu on the website is well organized and the pictures are of what you will actually receive. Most importantly though the medicine is always some of the best you could find anywhere and I have traveled everywhere in search of the best. The one thing they don't have is a price range. It is all the same price but often they have mix a lots which are a little cheaper by the 1/2 but the same high quality. I give the Greencross a solid 4 1/2 stars.

I think that of all the clubs and delivery services I've used - SC, LA and SF - the green cross stands out as the best by far. Like any resturant or place of service, there are times where I have been disapointed by the product I got, but with so many choices all the time it's really on the choice not the club. They always have a consistant selection of high quality medicine along side new and exciting strains. They also have just about any kind of alternative edible or method of taking the medicine as you could think of. As far as the price goes, they are always the best for the quality they offer. I save at least 100 bucks a month I think by ordering from the green cross than if I were to walk into a dispensary or order from another source. Sure I could get cheaper weed but the quality suffers, and if you buy in bulk from the green cross you come out with less than 40 dollar 8ths, now thats a deal!!

The Green Cross are excellent. Their medicine is affordable, consistently good and always effective in pain and medication relief. I am truly so happy with this gem of a delivery service.

I ordered from the green cross yesterday expecting the same quality service as usual. I called and ordered my 1/8 of sf exotica and another 1/8 of sf sticky icky. It's convienient to be able to look at the menu before you order. My medicine was delivered to me on time and was of great quality, especially the sf sticky icky. I gave the greencross 5 stars because it always offers great marijuana for a good price.

The Green Cross makes it as easy as possible to acquire medical marijuana, considering they provide door-to-door service. There are many days when I simply do not wish to leave the house, for various reasons, so to find a dispensary that delivers "quality" medicine approximately an hour after placing an order is a huge asset for me. Also, I have purchased a wide variety of their products, including the hash and kief, and I have never been disappointed. My personal favorites are the SF Sour Diesel marijuana and Purple Erkle hash. Like I said, "quality" medicine, and at the best price around.

Lastly, I need to mention that The Green Cross staff, both office and delivery personnel, are at the top of their game. For me, the combination of quality product and exceptional customer service make this the only club I frequent these days. Believe me, you'll be doing yourself a service by checking out this cannabis club. I give them 5+ stars in every catagory, along with my sincere appreciation.

The service is excellent, the people on the phone are very kind and they're great at helping you pick between buds you're torn between (which is very helpful for a delivery service). It seems like the quality of the buds themselves have gotten better since my last review. The only thing I would change about this entire well-run non-profit business is simply mentioning "this bud is great for vaporizing" here and there on their menu. That's it. Order before 2pm and get a free edible, last time I got this amazing chocolatey walnut cookie.

The Green Cross is my Dad's favorite shop in the world. He's been a regular patient of the Green Cross since they had the shop on 22nd Street. He enjoys the selection and loves the quality.

On one occasion he didn't like the medicine that he had purchased. All he had to do was call and the Green Cross gave him something else but they also would have given him a complete refund if that's what he desired. My Dad cannot function without Cannabis and the Green Cross provides him with the 5 star service he deserves. My family thanks you Green Cross.

Great Cannabis Club. Awesome if you live in San Francisco. They delivery within the city limits and always arrive within the hour. Sometimes may take up to 2 hours but never passed. They always have some of the best cannabis for only $45 an 8th. Most of their best selections are the most recently added strains. I check their website everyday and whenever a new strain pops up, I always end up buying. Some strains that they had were:

Cherry pie kush
Matunska Thundra aka Alaskian Thunderf**ck(one of my favs)
Hindu Kush Skunk
Dragons Breath
And many more. I recommend this club for anyone who lives in San Francisco.

Five stars for professionalism and service.

They are polite, prompt, well-dressed (unlike some delivery services I've seen in NYC where a 6'4" tattooed guy with a black eye and a braided chin beard comes to your door, the Green Cross staff look like professionals) and have a good selection.

To be honest, if you're willing to drive, deal with sketchy/rude folks, and pay more, you can find higher quality product. On the other hand, the Green Cross' product is relatively inexpensive, 75-95% the strength of the strongest available, and they are a pleasure to deal with.

I prefer to deal with them and will remain a loyal customer.

Excellent service!!! Arrived in a tiny "smart" car, would take no tip, gave me my product, (which was a small, airtight glass jar with a green cross on it) and a bonus medable!!! Hands down best club in the bay. I make it out to the city from SJ consistantly because the meds are that good. I have been a client for about a year and I must agree with the overwhelming comments about the Green Cross and their high level of professionalism and prompt service. The level of additional goodies they put with orders is a nice touch. Unfortunately, I have been underwhelmed by their product at times. So much so that I have searched elsewhere when I need to be sure that I will be getting the goods. Their product is sadly inconsistent. The Green Cross has great service. After getting a doctor's recommendation, I faxed it over to them and became a member. I called them up, placed an order, and just like they said, they met me at the location of my choice in S.F. and had a bag of goodies for me. They provide high quality medical products with the convenience of delivery at any location. Their prices are fair and quite competitive, and their selection is very impressive. First, let me say that I have been in the Medical Marijuana community for over 10 years, and have several conditions, including chronic pain, ptsd, and unfortunately more. I need marijuana every day, or my health suffers, and I cannot lead a normal life. The Green Cross is hands down the best Cannabis Club in the SF bay area! They really take their job as medical providers seriously. The staff is knowledgable, friendly, and professional...the Trifecta! The marijuana is immaculate. Amazing quality, and variety. If you need Indica, they have tons of strains. If you need Sativa, they have tons of strains. Something in between? Tons of strains! I have only had one bag that did not help me, and that was my fault for trying something I knew little about. The variety can be overwhelming, which cannot be said for any other club. Bottom line is this: If you need medical marijuana to live your life, do not trust the shady spots that value money over your health. Go to the Green Cross!

Just look at the pictures and ask the lovely GC staff member what they would recommend. You will almost definitely get something that you'd pay 55 or even 65 for somewhere downtown. I have been with the Green Cross since they were over by dolores,..and now that I have moved away, and they are now a delivery service, I think they still rock!!

I drive up from Santa Clara twice a month and get my medicine from Green Cross, and always get great products, great prices, and their service is just the best (ie you get treated like a human, not "patient number 14 in line")

I only had one problem one time I got some medicine that smelled just a tiny bit moldy, so I called em and just advised them, that they should check the packages, and change them out, or air it out so it's not so wet,...and not only did they thank me for telling them, they gave me replacement medicine no charge, and on my very next order!

Highly recommended! A million stars!

The Green Cross has been an amazing source for medical marijuana. I started purchasing their medication about 6 months ago and I have never once had a bad experience. I highly recommend the SF Sour Diesel, Granddaddy Purple, and the Bubba Kush. You really can't go wrong when you order from them, but those are definitely my 3 favorites. They're delivery is always prompt and usually around 45min-1hr; driver is always dressed very professionally and extremely nice people. The online menu is an absolutely amazing idea, and it's always current and up to date. Overall, I would rate The Green Cross 4 out of 5 stars (not 5 out of 5 because I don't have the option to physically check out my meds before I purchase them) So stop reading these reviews already and call them up. Order the Grandaddy and become sedated into your couch for a few hours. Love you GC!

I have tried the majority of the clubs in San Francisco and Oakland, and none comes close to the service and quality you get from Green Cross. The members are helpful, knowledgable and friendly. The prices are great and all the buds are top notch. A lot of alternatives also. The edibles aren't as potent (I wish they were) but they are very tasty.

I'm so excited to review The Green Cross as they have quickly become my favorite delivery service in the city! Tthe staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. They can answer almost any of your questions.

After calling in your order, they generally take about an hour to arrive and always come in the company Smart cars. Dressed to impress, this staff means business, and always with a smile on their faces. The edibles are pretty good, and the cannabis is even better. (I also recommend the body balm for any of those muscular pains.) The best I've had in the city thus far. You just can't beat it. For the quality of product and services that you receive, you really can't beat it. And you don't even have to leave the house!

This place is the best. They have the best prices that I have found at any club. Good price for an ounce. They also usually have a mix bag for $60 less. You have to try it, great stuff. The online menu is also great because you know exactly what you are ordering. Order before two and you get one of there great edibles. This place also has butter, peanut butter, tincture, balm, hash, and anything else you want.

Great delivery service with great meds. Consistant quality and service. They have recommended multiple strains with great results. I have always had a great experience with The Green Cross. Every time I have gotten medication from them I was always happy. They don't only make sure that you get the best nugs, but they always put a little extra in your bag. They are always very friendly and very fast to get you your medication. Hands down best overall dispensary in the Bay Area. 2 time winner of the San Fransisco Club of the year award. By overall I mean. Best quality for the price. They have a lot of different edibles, and the best customer service. They give you a full refund or let you exchange your medicine even if you used some already. Now you tell me, what other dispensary would let you do that?

P.S. Before Barrack Obama screwed us all over by somehow rasing the tax on weed, the green cross had their high grade ozs priced at a good price. Now that isn't the best price for an ounce of great quality GDP. Even now $30 more is nothing compared to $45, $65, or $80. So thank you green cross for being the most down to earth and understanding of the tough times and not charging us ridicolous prices.

I go to this club alot coming from the east bay. It's actually sometimes faster to just drive over to the city then oakland or berkeley where you have to park and wait in line. And if you can take a couple friends with you and listen to good music. They are always on time and bud's are a great price. Highly recommended. I also recommend the THC body balm.

The green cross has been an amazing source for medical marijuana. I started purchasing their medication about 6 months ago and I have never once had a bad experience. I highly recommend the SF Sour Diesel, Granddaddy Purple, and the Bubba Kush. You really can't go wrong when you order from them, but those are definitely my 3 favorites. They're delivery is always prompt and usually around 45min-1hr; driver is always dressed very professionally and extremely nice people.

Overall, I would rate The Green Cross 4 out of 5 stars (not 5 out of 5 because I don't have the option to physically check out my meds before I purchase them) So stop reading these reviews already and call them up. Order the Grandaddy and become sedated into your couch for a few hours. Love you GC!

When it comes to affordability and friendliness, the Green Cross hits home. Their medicine is usually organic, one reasonable price, and well documented. The staff, who work the phones and delivery cars, are always knowledgeable and punctual, providing excellent service to SF patients.

I love this service! They offer a great variety of products: 55 different strains, which they rotate to keep their selection diverse. The quality of herb here is not the best. Every once in a while I get something good, but it is too risky considering a lot of the photos are out of date and not representative of what you actually get. The mix is a good deal a lot, but I like to know where my medicine comes from and how it was grown. Other clubs top quality herb is way better than Green Cross, so I now find my self going elsewhere.

I agree with the sentiment that GC has good service, ie friendly, usually helpful staff; but the bottom line for me is: they're way inconsistent.

Some of my best meds have been from here (Pineapple Kush, Banana Kush) but I still wouldn't touch 90% of their menu. They got the business ethics down, just need superior product.

This place is a joke! Horrible quality. What looked very nice on their online catalog (Super Goo, Master Kush, Bubba Kush) was all actually ammonia smelling crap that seemed to have been sitting around for at least a half year.

The medicine they are selling can be easily found for less at any other dispensary. The only good thing I can say is that they gave a full refund and were very professional with the delivery. Otherwise, it was my worst experience with a cannabis club ever.

When you order from The Green Cross and think your meds will be good - and it is, but sometimes the meds effect last less than an hour. It's a hit or miss. the website says all meds are the same price but why is it not the same quality? One kind of meds will be airy and dry and weak and then you can get another kind of meds and it will be pretty dank, but i dont want to feel like Im being led on by the price.

I hope The Green Cross starts to sell potent meds, once again, because lately the meds clearly only hit you for less than an hour. I'm buying medicine that should have consistent quality. Your playing with my symptoms. Step it up.

The Green Cross is great. After getting the doctor's recommendation, I faxed it over to them and became a member. I called them up, placed an order, and just like they said, they were at my house in about an hour. They had a bag of stuff for me, including a free class jar, a THC cookie, a granola bar, as well as my order. Also included was an information packet that explains everything you need to know. No complaints, in fact, I'm quite impressed. Like ordering a pizza but, of course, much better. I recommend these guys for sure.

It gets 5 stars for the service/convenience. It gets 5 stars for the selection.It gets 3 stars for the quality. It's completely hit or miss. Yes they have all the great strain names and for the most part the pictures on the site are true to form, but the quality just isn't there most of the time. I've tried about 15 strains and only two truly wowed me. The Blue Dream is hands down the best, and the Banana Kush was also true to form. Everything else I had left alot to be desired. If you can settle on 1 or 2 strains you love here, just check the site every other day or so and hope it comes in. Otherwise, quality is just weak. Speaking of weak, on to the next rating.

It gets 0 stars for its edibles. This company should be investigated (yeah right) for what they market as "incredible edibles". The only thing incredible about them is the fact they do nothing. I\'ve tried countless edibles at this place and the best you are going to get is a slight giggly feeling and thats about it. The claims of "double the strength" are laughable. It was feelingless before the "double the strength" claim and its feelingless after. Seriously don't even offer edibles if you aren't going to put enough THC in them to even distinguish it from something my grandmother would make. The only difference these things have to their virgin cousins is a slight marijuana taste to them and it ends there.

I have yet to find a club with 300 dollar high-grade and the variety to choose from is awesome. Plus, they have quite a few hydro strains and the Blue Dream smells like Watermelon Jolly Rancher. At this club the names and pictures are great ;-) but the quality is not. Turns out that all the almost all cannabis is organic - which means usually fraction of potency and much lower grade of taste. Crappy meds for cheap. But the names are recognizable - Kush, OG, GDP, etc...

O, yea they give you a cookie which will not make you laugh or even smile. I ate a full cookie (0.08g THC) on 2 occasions from this club - not even a hint. On another note had a cookie from anther club - Wow.

The meds used to be much better. The photos have been the same for months, and the descriptions are usually just generic descriptions from a seed bank. Everything sounds good but when you get it, it just isn't that potent and is leafy. They do have a half ounce of Mix-a-lot which is a good deal, because who can turn down a half oz for $100 bucks. Every once in a while they have an extremely potent nice strain, but I would say it is about 1 in 20 that is of top quality. The edibles suck and are usually stale. The phone operators and delivery people are very nice and professional, too bad the medicine quality is getting worse and worse.

I have been searching for a club that I could stay with. I have found it. The folks on the phone were professional and my eligibility was verified in 10 minutes. The website is extensive and easy to use. The delivery was fast, the courier was professional and courteous. Everything was exactly as ordered and the medicine recommendation was prefect. They included information, a snack and a free glass jar. There is no reason to visit another pharmacy again. Thank you for a great experience.

Sadly, this used to be my favorite club because of how perfect they were, (accurate pictures of product, price, and hooked up weight) but recently with a spike in price, and low-grade medicine with top quality names, I've chosen I'm straight off this club until they get their act straight, which is hopefully soon. I won't be going through them anymore...and seriously anything edible here is not worth spending money on.

Don't get me wrong I'm not just "hating" on this club, they hook me up almost an extra 1/8 every time because im a good customer (31.5) with a free edible yadayada but 31.5 of harsh leafy outdoor isn't as great as it sounds.

I wish I could rate this club with more stars. I just barely got my cannabis card and this is the only cannabis club that I order from now. First of all they got good prices on the cannabis. Two, the hash they have half grams of bubble hash for $15 and grams for $25 and all edibles for $5. Man this cannabis club must be in cannabis heaven! Thank you god for The Green Cross.

If I could rate The Green Cross with more stars, I most definitely would, as they're a top notch operation from start to finish. Let me tell you why:

Customer service is 100% compassionate, and they are down-to-earth-friendly over the phone.

I relied solely on these reviews (and many over the web) to pick which dispensary/co-op to initially visit, and the clear cut answer was The Green Cross. So, to return the huge-favor, I am submitting mine!

The online medication menu (which updates quite frequently, that's a huge plus!) and medical information regarding the types, and uses of medicine left me feeling confident that the people running the business actually care about what they do!

Once you understand the logistics of how The Green Cross operates, it makes the entire process move very smoothly and stress-free.

After becoming a member, and going through the enlightening experience that The Green Cross has provided me, I don't see myself visiting any other dispensary.

Lastly, the free edible that was included with my order was simply amazing! I could definitely see myself ordering 3-4 of these, and possibly exploring more of what is available on their menu!

I sure hate to give a bad rating to a club that has never delivered to me or I have purchased any of their medicine, but I have been in the Bay area now since May. I have sent the Green Cross staff to date 16 emails with questions as to how and when I can use there service since getting my State ID. I have not received a single email response from them since May. I think the staff there either needs to post on their website that they are not taking new members or start returning emails to valid patients.

This club is good and bad.

I've purchased some really great stuff from them before, but recently, I've noticed, they do the bait and switch on their buds. Their pictures of the buds doesn't match up anymore. I had bought some Grape Ape that was excellent and it matched the picture on the site.

A week later I ordered another 1/2 oz. and this time the buds were different (I knew it was different cuz I still had some of the Grape Ape from the first order) and it wasn't as good. I had also bought some Purple Kush and OG Kush that they claimed was killer, again it was medium grade!!!

I use to trust their recommendations, but no more.

Green Cross, I hope you go back to your old ways and start being honest again about your buds and its potency. A lot of their buds are uncured, over dried and tastes really nasty cuz whoever grew it, didn't flush the buds out before harvesting!!!!!

I was a little uneasy about calling them at first but after I did I was greeted with warm welcoming attitudes, people who really care about the patients needs, and price range!! The Green Cross makes buying my medicine civilized. They are a non-profit organization for one thing, their pot is all excellent quality and consistent. You can see what they have online, including glam shots of the buds, and they only deliver. To top it all off, their phone staff is friendly, helpful and always pleasant to deal with, they usually deliver within an hour, and I always look forward to yet another fine young man coming to my door, (and I do mean fine) although I'm old enough to be their mother. They are all polite, dressed well and discreetly carrying a nice black shoulder bag containing my order. They always ask about the names of the cats and ask me to check my order to make sure it's correct.

Then they take my credit card, (that one really made me happy!) No more having to carry around $155 in cash and bring the pot home on the bus! Oh yes, $155 gets you a half of anything and they usually have specials for less. And they don't accept tips. And there's always a granola bar in the bag with your order and a, "special" baked good if you order before 2pm. To sum up, I feel like I've died and gone to Amsterdam -- only with delivery!

Being from San Jose I was kind of nervous to just go meet someone on the street in San Francisco and get a bag of herbs and goodies but I was pleasantly surprised by how easy the whole process was. I got into the city and placed my order then parked and waited for the delivery guy to walk up. We briefly chatted and exchanged pleasantries, I showed the proper paperwork and I was on my way with all I needed to make the rest of the day sweet. I cannot give Green Cross enough praise for the service they offer. They have an informative and compassionate staff and they offer a much higher grade of medication than other dispensaries that I've tried in L.A. and San Francisco.

I have a rare disorder in which pharmaceutical pain medications do not have any effect on me. I was lucky to find a medical doctor who actually suggested medicinal marijuana. With this medication, I have been able to get control over my pain. With the assistance of the Green Cross staff, I have found a combination of medications, which are effective for daytime use and nighttime use. The staff is very informative and very understanding.

I had surgery a few weeks ago and my doctor refused to release me for two nights because they could not get my pain under control with morphine, vicodin or oxycontin. Although my doctor was aware of my resistance to pain medication, she didn't actually believe it until she saw me walking the halls while under a combination of all three of the pain medications listed above - when I explained that medicinal marijuana was the only thing that had helped me up to that point, she was skeptical, but also open and compassionate - I was able to make arrangements for medical marijuana (Green Cross has an excellent reputation with UCSF doctors who support the use of medical marijuana for a variety of serious health concerns) and was I finally able to get some pain relief (and sleep) for the first time in three days.

I have had a couple of strains from here, which were complete duds. I've found that by asking for a recommendation for medication to address my specific health concern, I get exactly what I need and I've never been disappointed by a staff recommendation. Although Green Cross does try to educate you with all the information they provide about medicinal marijuana - the menu can be overwhelming because there are a lot of choices. If you ask about a particular strain from the menu and the staff member helping you doesn't seem enthusiastic about it, I wouldn't buy it.

The delivery service is extremely efficient and the delivery staff is professional and they are seriously the nicest, nicest people. The people who work here love their jobs (and not just for the obvious reason) and it shows because they are, again, the nicest people.

I am new to San Francisco and have only been to about 9 clubs, but..... The Green Cross, wins, hands down. The staff is absolutly the most informed and more polite than any other club staff that, I have talked to. They have a fantastic selection, best prices in town and............ they fucking deliver... what more can a stoner ask for? Not only did the give a free THC cookie but gave a normal healthy munchie snack as well. One phone call and, I was good to go. Unfortunately, The product. I have ordered several times, big bags, and have been disappointed in the quality each time. Small buds that look like they've been screened for kief, rarely any aroma, and never yet even remotely like the picture on the page.

The Green Cross is the finest club in California by far. The customer service is by far the best of almost any business I have ever done business. This begins from the first contact on the phone to the delivery person at your door.

I have tried every club in the city and none come close. When you live in severe pain you need and want to deal with people who understand you and who are compassionate as well. The Green Cross offers a fantastic service and a community friendly business. So much good: the prices are unbeatable with quantity discounts, mixed bag and overstock deals, fast and free delivery anywhere in the city (which is especially good for those who live out of the area where all the clubs are located), free snack and often a free edible also, credit cards accepted, the staff are always professional and usually friendly too. Often having a large organic strain offering, this is one of the only clubs that does not try to show off their top grade by over drying or curing. The bud is almost always very fresh and may not look impressive - but you smell it, smoke it or take a look under a microscope to know that you have very good quality. They provide one of the friendliest menus I have ever seen with pictures of all the products and even pictures regarding effects, etc. And it is on the Internet for easy current information! As a vaporizor only user, I find that on occassion there is a strain that too harsh or ineffective in the vaporizer (less than 5% of the time which is a way better percentage than other clubs). If only they could get some sativa kief (and/or hash) and carry clones of some of their amazing and popular strains!

No problem, the nice lady who took my call directed me to where I could get the documents copied and faxed. Once done I was met by a very professional driver, with top of the line Sticky Icky and Super Gu.

I agree with the rest of the reviews, the Green Cross is off the hook!!! I finally hooked up with them today and the 4 different Indica strains I got from them was excellent. They don't joke around with their recommendations, they really know what they're talking about, not like those other clueless clowns at the other clubs. I also got some Purple Erkle Bubble Hash from them that was killer too!! They gave me a free bracelet and a free lemon cookie that was good too, plus some other freebies. They are definitely my favorite dispensary now, the search is over...Very Highly Recommended....:)

They still have that incredible menu online, which is always coming up with new and smart ways to consume THC without smoking it. I got a 1/2 for $135 of super silver haze, and I got 1/8th of super gu for $45. All really good deals for good quality weed. The woman and male operator on the phone was still very helpful and caring as usual. My delivery guy was much more chill and nicer than my last one and I'm very glad I returned. Amazing, I have been to other clubs, and NO other club has buds this good and cheap! One time they messed up my order and I got 10$ off after they came back with it and gave me free edibles! Top notch quality and service! I'm over trying other clubs out and being disappointed, all Green Cross from here on and out.

Wow, I just joined this place and I will not go anywhere else.

The staff is insanely awesome and respectful - from the people who answer the phones to the delivery drivers. Delivery was fast and I got exactly what I ordered and a bunch of free stuff too!

The Trainwreck is insane!

Oh, and the top notch buds are some of the most affordable...other places simply can't compete.

The Green Cross has amazing prices! You cant compete with them on that factor. They dont skimp your sacks and the buds are sooo bomb! Mendo Grape is my favorite, absolutely fantastic for pain. The Green Cross has edibles which taste good, but arent as effective as others Ive had from other MCD's. The hash is mighty fine as well.. selection is A+.

The staff answering phones is super friendly, amazingly friendly in fact. After visiting other MCD's you'll eventually come across some grouchy budtenders, not here, and it really makes your visit that much better. If youre not sure on a choice, ask the staff.

The Green Cross is usually pretty fast as far as delivery time goes. If they happen to be late, they apologize. Their drivers are super nice as well!

The Green Cross is the only club that keeps it real!

I drove up to an area near the Green Cross from San Jose. The woman on the phone was really nice and caring when I ordered, very informative also. I ordered everything, tea, brownies, cookies, all good but none of them got me medicated.

Also tried the sour diesel, super silver haze, and northern lights. Sour diesel - pretty strong, super silver haze - very nice mystic high, northern lights - really calm high.

Not sure if I was supposed to tip because it was a delivery service even though i was meeting them close but thats my fault for not asking. Exotic purple high was really trippy. all good products.

This is overall the best way to legally obtain marijuana in the city!

The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and sound like they really care. The marijuana is always amazing, every strain is definitely worth the money, and at 45/eighth for all strains, it is simply the best. Not to mention they always have 30+ strains to choose from, and they are always changing.

The staff have even contacted me letting me know that they had found a misplaced quarter of my favorite bud and that they were saving it for me! Who else would do that? I'd rate them higher if I could.

I joined the Green Cross Collective a few months ago after visiting most of the medical cannabis dispensaries. I have seen pictures of on The Green Cross website forum.

Needless to say, I came running back to these guys. What a professional group of people with outstanding customer service, great prices, and more choices on there menu than I knew existed.

I can't recommend these guys and gals enough.

This is the cannabis club that came to Treasure Island. The staff are so great and the drivers are all very good eye candy. The prices are so sweet! Please me out and show some love for them on 8/2/07 at city hall, rm 400 so San Francisco can give up the permit for the Green Cross.

I've been a patron of "the cross" for about 2 years. At their old location I would come across the bay from Berkeley at 9:45 AM to be the first patient at the door. Nowadays, I live in SF, and the convenience of the delivery service is fantastic. They take credit cards, have the lowest prices, give free edibles, and overweigh their medication. What else can you ask for? That they bring it to your door? Oh, right. They do that for free!

The Green Cross is the best!!! Today I ordered a volcano vaporizer, which was delivered, and is the cheapest price I have ever seen, (even cheaper than the manufacturer's price). I also got an eighth of super gu $40 which was super relaxing and a gram of bubble hash $25 which I have yet to try. They included a free edible with it, service was friendly and all was delivered in less than an hour of me making the phone call and the guy apologized for taking so long and wouldnt accept a tip. Unreal. this place is great!

The Green Cross has been the best medicinal cannabis dispensary I have ever been to. They consistently have the best selection, a very friendly and knowledgeable staff that is there to find the best strain for your ailment, and they always abided by the laws set fourth by the state in every instance I can recall. As a super busy San Francisco worker I don't have the luxury of shopping at cannabis dispensaries. I am so lucky to have a service like the Green Cross to deliver my medications in the comforts of my own home. The best i have had as of yet. Initially Ii felt distrustful of a delivery service, the Green Cross staff was knowledgeable, respectable and courteous. They were concerned about me and my health, offered me options of intake (many edibles and this great THC infused olive oil). To top it all they gave me a free delicious magic cookie. I will only use them from now on. I highly recommend you try them.

Great customer service, I feel they are concerned about patients and not their money. The have very knowledgeable staff. I felt safe and reassured that I was taken the right medication after my visit from The Green Cross staff.

I was also provided smokeless options such as a free edible on my first visit. The Green Cross has won me over and I would recommend them to all my friends.
