Best meds in California... no question. I have tried other clubs in the Bay Area and other clubs in Southern CA, and this one always has the highest quality buds.

The edibles are really good. Customer service is great. Nice people and friendly atmosphere.

I can't smoke medical cannabis from anywhere else because I have been a loyal APC patient for 3+ yrs and nothing else can even come close. If you are not buying your meds here, you are missing out!!!!

APC consistently has the highest grade cannabis I have ever seen. Just ask to see the buds under the "magnifier" and you can see for yourself. I prefer the organics because they are always the strongest and best tasting.

They let me in and then they made me wait 20 minutes, then they said they couldn't let me buy meds there because they couldn't get a hold of my doctor. So I went down a couple blocks and bought better meds at a better club. The meds APC had on display looked like outdoor greens and the prices were ridiculous, $35 dollars a gram is a rip off no matter what type of medicine it is.

This is my favorite cannabis club. It's a small chill place where you can go in get your meds and go on with your day. They have a very good selection of organic strains, some believe organic has a weaker potency which is incredibly untrue, go in and try some of their J-27 or Organic GDP and you will think twice about saying organic is weaker.
Don't listen to the negative reviews about this place, go in and judge for yourself.

Great friendly staff that can be very helpful when trying to decide what type of strain to get, and they are knowledgeable on all their strains, best of all buds selected get weighed in front of you and are picked with chopsticks. They can also carry some of the best Lemon Kush full melt and Sour D full melt. Their edibles is some of the best as well, try their dank cookies or lemon bar and get ready for a great trip.

Picked up some GDP and it was straight killed me. Best purple I've had in decades. $550 a zip sounds expensive eh? But no matter this dank is the best. Ranges from $20 grams of fire and cheap grams of hash!!! This club is definitely one of my favorites!

This club used to be one of my favorite place. I was not very happy for the meds I got yesterday. Over-priced, weak meds, and staff was wow, highly medicated. They have more clubs around Soma District better than this one. Believe me, just keep searching. If you want good medications for the price you pay, well I will tell you this. This place is the wrong one to go.

I went here today with my partner. The security guard noticed that his card had just gone out of date the day before. He started to harass him and treat him like he was some kind of criminal. He yelled at him and told him that he had to leave which he did but he continued to yell at him as he left. He is sick and had his service dog with him so he had to take a moment to put the clasp on his bag. We have been going here for over a year and up to now have had great service but after today I may go elsewhe

One of my favorite clubs. Very small but very nice. Had a lot of strains all for good prices. Went in and got some Blowfish which blew my mind. I would recomend Blowfish to those who have not tried it.

This place gets my top review for all around place.

Excellent quality buds weighed out right in front of you.

Both the security guard and the guy behind the counter know their stuff. They take the time to steer you to the right bud for whatever your ailment may be.

I had grown a little tired of kush, told them that and they set me up with some great J-27 which really kicked ass.

When they ran out of J-27 they had some really good Dankover.

Friendly and they really know their medical marijuana.

I have been to many clubs this is by far the best club I've been to. I got a 1/8 of GDP and it was the finest. Everyone in the club even the door man was cool.

I have found my favorite cannabis club in the Bay area! This place is amazing, they have everything you could ever want. Crazy huge selection of strong/cheap edibles (from cookies to lozenges and even vegan organic peanut butter!) Picked up some dank Grape Skunk and Grand Daddy that blew my mind! The dispensary is super clean and cozy and the people are very friendly. If you want to visit a legit, organic club this place is it.

This is by far the best (although smallest) dispensary I've ever been to, and I've been to quite a few! Infact, I think it's worth it to pay the toll to come (I live in Alameda.) They not only sell clones, but they have proven motherplants too, something which I haven't seen much of at any other dispensaries. Also, they store all their strains in big individual jars, each holding what looks like about 5 or 6 ounces of bud. This means that instead of preweighing it and packaging it in advance, they weigh it right out infront of you, which I think is a big plus. They also have shake, done the same way. I usually buy at least half an ounce of that when I go, because it's a fantastic deal. The staff is very friendly and very knowledgeable about the product they have, and is more than willing to answer any questions you have about anything cannabis related.

I am still fairly new to the Canna Clubs in the city. I have been to only 4 now but APC is my favorite. I have gotten excellent Lemon Kush and Sour Diesel hash as well as some unique Dankouver and Great Black Magic. Organics are tastiest and best! Too bad there's not an APC closer to my house.

I recently drove from LA to go to this dispensary in San Francisco for the 3rd time and I have had no regrets each time. I shared my medication with a fellow patient from here in LA and he was dramatically affected after only 1 hit of J27. He became so affected that he asked me to call 911. I did so but the paramedics said he was okay and did not need a trip to the hospital. He then quickly fell asleep on my couch. He was fine but later told me that he had never had that quality medication before. I love this place!

This past weekend my was first time going up to a San Francisco dispensary and I like to review my clubs and get informed. Heard about Alternative Patient Caregivers and went right over. Liked it - best experience and best environment. I'm sorry I'm not good with names but the girl in the front was extremely helpful and very patient and nice with me which was awesome and greatly appreciated. Go organic it's best for sures.

APC provides the most personal care and service out of the many cannabis dispensaries that I have been to around the state. There is actually serious effort put in to ensuring patients get the best meds for their ailments as possible, while not feeling at all rushed.

I chose APC randomly from an ad. This was my first club visit after receiving my card, and I was very pleased. From the doorman to the guy behind the counter, friendly, didn't rush me, knew their stuff. And I was ecstatic to find they had Sour Diesel Kush, one of my favorite strains, and one I hadn't had in a long time. I would knock off 1/2 a star for atmosphere. I don't care if the Mint Mall is a little dumpy, but they could stand to decorate and do a little something with the ambiance of the place. But aside from that minor critique, the place is great. I'm still going to check out some other clubs to see what's out there, but odds are I'll stick with this place because I liked the staff so much, and the both the quality and the prices are great.

The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable especially that red headed fellow. The meds were top notch some of the best in the city. Really liked the Sour Diesel and the Black Garlic was a steal at $45 for an 1/8. Overall a great experience.

I like that the high grade 1/8 comes in a jar which keeps them fresh. The aroma is much more fragrant from a jar rather than a bag. APC provides excellent quality medication with daily specials that change often.

Nice club, small space, cool vibe. Didn't feel rushed at all. Didn't try any meds, picked up two jack herer clones for $15 each. Would have given more stars if they had more clones. Only had like 12 that I could see, plus there is some kind of mold on the Rockwool. The guy was cool and told me a few other clubs to try. They did have some really nice looking organic buds that I was eyeing, but I'd guess it's pricey.

Great club. The guy at the front door is positive yet gives you a sense of security. The staff is great. And the organic is quite simply top notch with more than fair pricing. I make the drive with a smile on my face. Great job!

I just went there the other day and got 1/2 ounce of the Bubba Kush shake...was not too impressed with it. There was a good number of dead leaves, so much so in fact that the herbs actually smell like hay, not the traditional 'coffee' bubba smell. Anyways, my tolerance is quite low and I haven't really even felt it. Oh well it was cheap at least. 2/5

APC is a great place to obtain your medical marijuana. The location is pretty convenient, and the staff was helpful. They had about 10 strains when I visited, along with cookies, brownies, peanut butter, oils, etc. Offered a daily special also.

The meds at APC in San Fran are incredible. I have become the biggest pot snob because I am so used to the quality organic buds from APC... I recently turned down several joints while at a few concerts because they weren't from APC and I could immediately smell the difference when they were lit. I will be making the trip up from LA again in one week to stock up. The prices are about $20-30 cheaper per eighth than LA clubs; the quality at APC is about 10 times better than any of the overpriced LA clubs. You will not be disappointed... Wow! This is great stuff! I discovered APC through a friend who lives in San Francisco. I live in Los Angeles and I drive to San Francisco just to go to the APC. The selection of organics is out of this world. The effects are amazing from whole body to energetic and happy. The operator of APC is a great guy and he has a great staff. This was my first club that I have been to and I must say I was rather please with it. They had several strains to choose from. The shop is on the small side, but it has a more friendly feeling. Quick in and out. Some of the best stuff I have ever gotten. I will definitely be making a trip back.

When looking for a club to check out, I came here to SF Cannabis Clubs and I read some of the reviews. I was hoping i would not run into any of the problems people were having regarding service or the quality of embarrssing buds.

I choose the APC and, man, I have to say they had a great looking selection for mostly being organic. I don't usually pay much attention to organics but after what turned out to be an informative visit to the APC the staff was very knowledgeable about the meds. And their meds look way better than most organic stuff i have seen around town.

Oh yeah, and I got a free lighter with my purchase. Way to go APC. Thanks, and I will be back!

Location - discreet, right down the street from the Embarcadero.

Staff - real, & honest.

Medicine - high quality, organic and non-organic; your choice.

My favorite - they weigh it out in front of you, and the organic is out of this world.

Why did I come here? Longer story ...well the reviews to start with and ... I came here after becoming frustrated with another club who routinely take their ounces off the shelf to force you to buy in smaller quantities. I didn't think this was safe or cool.

Being from San Jose, I can easily drive to SC or SF, I now choose SF.

Wow! This place has really come a long way. I went in and the guy at the door was really cool, they took my card and said I would have to get a sticker from the girl at the counter to be part of their collective- No biggie. She seem pretty nice and informative.

They had a great selection of organic meds which they try to focus on. They offer other buds that they said they can't gurantee was organic. I was happy to know they let you know the difference. SInce I specifically came to check out organic. Oh yeah the prices we also decent got a few different grams to check out for about $15-$20. Over All i had a pretty good experience, I will go there again.

Huge selection(11 or more) of high times quality meds, friendly helpful staff willing to explain the different effects of different strains to better serve my medical needs. These guys are awesome. I went there today... the doorman was really nice, and the two gentleman inside were very helpful, answering my questions about the indica/sativa proportions of their strains and so on.

They have a really good selection. I didn't count but i think they had about 10. I got a 1/16th of black garlic for $25 and a gram of SSH for $20. I will definitely go back to this club!

A great club - most of the time they have a decent selection (one time they only had 5 strains, usually they have 10 or more), good prices, laid-back atmosphere and excellent quality. One less star b/c recently while not skim, my 1/8s haven't looked quite as large as they did a few months ago. But they weigh it out in front of you so it's not like I'm getting ripped off.

Their meds are great. I have always heard organic is better, but now I know why. With awesome flavors, pungent aromas, and a sparkling exterior, APC has the best herbs in the city. In combination with a friendly helpful staff and consistent hours, it is well worth the long drive.

I really like this place because it always has a good selection of 100% organic medicine. This place rates high for me because being a female I need to feel comfortable walking into a place that doesn't have a whole lot of riff raff standing out in front.

I was a little apprehensive about purchasing medical marijuana but the friendly and helpful people at APC made me feel right at home. They are knowledgeable and patient. They've been able to answer all my questions.

I've also been very pleased with the quality of the products they dispense, including fantastic edibles. And I feel better knowing that I'm consuming organically grown cannabis.

I highly recommend APC for your medical marijuana needs.

I used to live in San Francisco and was lucky enough to find a true hidden gem -- Alternative Patient Caregivers on Mission Street. Everything here is completely organic and the quality blows everything else away. I have been to many other clubs in SF but always found that APC had superior quality by far. So much so that when I moved to LA in October, I made it less than a month before I was making the long boring drive by myself with the sole purpose of stocking up on the tastiest organic buds anyone could want. I go once a month now. I've tried several clubs in LA and West Hollywood but they are so much more expensive and the quality is not even in the same league. Go to APC in San Francisco and you will be hooked. Also the staff are very welcoming and laid back so it's always a very positive vibe. Don't miss out on this San Francisco treat! ;)

Alternative Patient Caregivers has an excellent product! Usually with a good selection! Will accept a md's letter w/out the bullshit county card that is not a requirement of the law. Be careful in this neighborhood. Park at the yerba buena center structure and not on the street.

This place is an example of what not to do as a cannabis club. The rudest doorman I've ever met. He actually confronted me in a verbally combative way upon arriving. Is that really how we want to treat the sick?

Poor quality product, and little knowledge of the origin leaves me wondering why, with so many great clubs providing medical care in a professional and kind way, why visit one that does not?

This medical marijuana dispensary has good meds, but is very inconsistent with hours (at times the club will be closed without notice in advance), compassion, and merchandise.

I feel like this coop is not in a safe environment because of its location. Don't park between 4pm to 6pm on Mission street or else you will be towed! I was not satisfied with the service or vibes in this dispensary.
