Habeus Corpus Hearing
Please come show your support for Will Foster. On August 4th Judge Antolini will hear arguments in the case that determines whether Will is sent back to Oklahoma. If they send him back, they may try to keep him imprisoned until 2015 for his medical marijuana grow in OK for which he served 4 1/2 years already (now almost six years, since he's been in jail in Sonoma for over a year a now).
It is important for people to be in the courtroom. Will needs your support bringing attention to his case. Publicity does affect court decisions.

Dear Friends,
Will Foster has been in jail for over a year now fighting charges
related to his personal medical marijuana grow, see.
http://www.medicalmarijuanaofamerica.com/content/blogsection/10/130/
Apparently, thanks to some pressure on the Sonoma County DA with a
letter writing and petition campaign, and an article in the West Coast
Leaf (that one of the narcotics officers complained about), the DA
finally dismissed all of the California charges against him! He
remains incarcerated, however, due to some extradition issues with
Oklahoma. They want him back due to an alleged parole violation (Will
had been released from parole in California, but Oklahoma wanted him
to finish many more years on parole there).
Will's attorney feels that now is the time for more political pressure
to be placed on the Oklahoma governor to commute his sentence, as well
as Gov. Schwarzenegger, who could refuse to send him back. We will let
you know how you can help Will as soon as his supporters devise a
strategy.
Will will be back in court on Friday to hear some arguments on this
issue at 8:30 AM, the Sonoma County Court House, Judge Antolini Dept
3. If you can make it, he could use the support. It's good for the DA
and the judge to know that this case is important and that we are
watching them.
Thanks to all the people who showed up today to support Will. It paid
off, but the fights not over yet.....
