Medithrive Permit Hearing

Greetings,
If you are able to attend this hearing next Wednesday, here are some talking points if you wish to speak on behalf of Medithrive, a new MCD taking over the space of a former MCD at 1933 Mission Street.
The Permit hearing for a new dispensary seeking to open in the Mission District at a previous dispensary location is happening next week. Medithrive has applied to open at 1933 Mission Street, and the hearing
takes place this Wednesday July 08, 2009 at 1PM. For those of you can make
it, the hearing is at Department of Public Health, 101 Grove Street in Room 300. We'll send out a reminder and some sample talking points next week.
Eddy Lepp's Going Away party is tomorrow 7/4 in clearlake, this is a free party for anyone who wants to say good-bye before he turns himself in next week for his ten year federal prison term. Bands & Live Music all day in
Clearlake at his home.
For those of you looking for something closer to the Bay Area, East Bay Patients Association is having a fourth of July Party for patients at their dispensary from 3-7pm. There will be food for sale, all of the food
profits will be going directly to ASA. They are located at 3223 Pierce Street in Richmond (near BART).
Talking points:
The green zone prohibits a lot of new MCD’s from opening, so when we have a space that complies, it is important to support protect and preserve its use as an MCD. Please approve their permit application.
I support Medithrive, keeping access to medical cannabis in this neighborhood is very important. The location is in the Mission, serving its diverse population; it is walking distance from BART and several Muni bus lines, as well as being close to SF General Hospital.
Medithrive’s team is compassionate and responsible; we look forward to this space re-opening as a medical cannabis dispensary. We ask that you approve their permit today.
