San Francisco Cannabis Freedom Day

In association with
the Global Marijuana March, a worldwide event taking place on May
2nd, the 16th annual San Francisco celebration of cannabis/marijuana
will feature a march around the Civic Center Plaza from 12:00-12:30pm
with flags, balloons and hand drums encouraged! Live music starts
right after the Annual Marijuana March which will be followed by a
festival featuring notable speakers, live music and over 30 booths
featuring hemp products as well as food.
Under new management who is proud to carry on a fine tradition in the
San Francisco Community, and the direction of a new production
company, Delta Dove Events, the event anticipates approximately
10,000 attendees.

Please Note:
As per our contract with SF Parks and Rec., this year the SF non-smoking ordinance will be strictly enforced at the Plaza.
However, there will be special Compassion Tent accommodations for those with medical cannabis IDs or doctor's notes, thanks to the agreement with Delta Dove Events.

Delta Dove Events, was founded by Lynnette Shaw in order to produce
the Cannabis day event. Lynnette has an impressive career, including
running the Marin Alliance For Medical Marijuana (The oldest
operating Cannabis club in the state of California), performing with
the Blues Brothers band as Bluesetta, and running for California Lt.
Governor.

Renegade Productions, will provide the sound system for the event.
They are one of the largest production companies in the Bay Area,
providing Live Sound Reinforcement, Lighting, Staging, Power and
