San Francisco Operations & Neighborhood Services Hearing
Please show up and support San Francisco today to the Operations & Neighborhood services hearing at about 1:30pm in CITY HALL room 263 to support Supervisor Alioto Piers MCD legislation and specifically Supervisor Jake McGoldrick's new MCD definition.
The hearing starts at 1pm and I'm planning on being there by 1:30.
All we really need people to do is say some variation of the following:
- Thanks to Supervisor McGoldrick for offering the sensible definition of Medical Cannabis Dispensary to protect small independent collectives, cooperatives and delivery services. This proposal will ensure that City government regulates medical cannabis dispensaries as LAND USE issues while not interfering with a patient's basic rights to access medical cannabis under state law.
- Supervisor McGoldrick's legislation will also bolster Senator
Migden's corageous efforts to clarify State law regarding cannabis
dispensaries and ensure patient access across California. San
Francisco is a leader in the State of California for progressive
change .. and California leads the nation. It is vital that we bring
our definition of MCD in line with the state appeals court's recent
decisions to protect patients and caregivers.
