American Canyon To Consider Dispensing Collective Ban

The American Canyon City Council may ban medical cannabis dispensing collectives at its April 21st meeting, if they follow recommendations from the city Planning Commission. Brent Cooper, community development director on the commission, helped to draft the ordinance that would attempt to cite federal law as an excuse to deny access to medication for the American Canyon qualified residents who need it to treat serious or chronic illness.
