The Compassionate Care Council is a medical cannabis trade association that currently consists of 12 dispensaries, collectives and co-ops in San Francisco, California.
We are excited about welcoming new dispensaries as our organization continues to grow and mature.
The Compassionate Care Council was formed for the specific purpose of educating the public, policymakers and our members about the regulatory issues facing dispensaries, collectives and cooperatives in San Francisco. There is a diversity of approaches to delivering medical cannabis to patients in San Francisco and across California, but our local law treats each dispensary the same. The CCC is excited about the opportunity to work in concert with the numerous other organizations advocating on behalf of patients or other collectives towards the common goal of maximizing and protecting affordable patient access in San Francisco.
At a time when access to medical cannabis is under attack from the federal government's misguided prohibition-era policies as well as the overblown concerns of certain NIMBY activists, it is vital that the medical cannabis community continues to find common ground around the issues of greatest importance to our cause and support one another wherever possible.
